my father was a crane operator back in the day
much more likely to bump a powerline than a lightning strike but similar consequences

yes, the current flows to the ground

hopefully, the operator's seat and controls and pedals/flooring are well insulated

perhaps there was income from another source that you'd rather not disclose, but was hard to hide completely, cause you were spending said income.

Possibly, though I think that would be "illegal" as a money washing attempt.  You'd be better off not reporting it at all.  And the tax preparers would usually not go along with that scheme.  Maybe some would.

This is why some drug folks buy some cash business to wash the proceeds and be able to bank the money.

I've seen a few restaurants around that do almost zero business and stay for years.

I have nothing against Thomas, but I really don't like the idea of billionaire $$$ influencing judges

if this is what is happening, I'd like to see it brought out and folks punished

Actually, I have done that, in our building newsletter.

It's a one per week kind of thing I used to do, the current HOA mgr doesn't like to include them so I quit.
