Ive never known anyone who was good at golf that just played it every now and then

When someone plays golf for the first time they either hate it and never play again or they love it and play every chance they get

so when someone calls it a boring ass game I assume they are in the first catahory

I'm not very good at soccer but I love watching.  I'm not very good at football, haven't played since junior high, but I love watching it.

Golf just sucks.

my point exactly

golf is unique its not like football or other sports

when folks try it it either grabs them or it doesnt 

I was in the grab category and used to pkay it as much as I could without getting a divorce

My sole golf experience was limited to one outing in Southern California around 1990.  My three housemates paired me up with an idiot who like me happened to be from Michigan.  This guy managed to hit three consecutive balls into the exact same square foot of a pond on the course.  After the third he threw his club at the cart.  Hilarious.  And needless to say I drank a lot of beer.

I'm condemning the entity of golf itself.  It sucks.
