What a weird position to assume of people, that actually liking the country, means they think it has zero room for improvement.

In my experience the people who complain most bitterly about how terrible the US is, have never been outside of the US.

Ahh, I see we're on this debate again...

Has anyone's opinions changed since we had it last year, or the year before that, or the year before that?

Didn't think so.

My opinion changed, I think.  About something.

I used to opine I wasn't sold on Kirby Smart as an HC.  I guess I kinda am now, maybe sorta.

Still 0-1 in the Sugar Bowl.  Moving the goalposts I see

Yeah, 0-1 in the SB, that's a factor for sure.  I think 1-4 against Alabama, which is even worse.

Bingo.
One thing that’s bad about America is that this topic doesn’t fully die.

One thing that’s good is that we often don’t discuss it.

In other news....city of Madison plans to sue Hyundai and KIA for not making their cars harder to steal.   If we only had a system to charge people with crimes for stealing a motor vehicle.

I find it a weird position, too.  To claim there's obviously room for improvement, but to resist any and all mentions of major criticisms and problems our country has.
Very weird.  A sort of "nuh uh" response.

Evidently Insurance Companies are dropping those policies or charging exorbitant amount for coverage because they're easy to pinch. Just buy a standard shift

We are going to watch the symphony practice this morning, I'm rather interested in how it goes.  Apparently they "never" miss a note in a performance, which is something in itself considering how often they perform new stuff.  The last chair violinist must be really good I reckon.

It shouldn't die, and as a whole it should be discussed more.

What is the topic?  The strange notion that some Americans think the country is somehow perfect and that is a problem?

I've never met one, the few who might exist are problems only for themselves.
