I recently read a book about the history of this place from start to 1900 and was surprised how often the "city fathers" blamed the railroads for this and that.  The Egg Lobby also took considerable heat.

An amusing thing today is the highly successful "Beltline" is based on old RR corridors.  This thing has really reshaped a number of neighborhoods and gets so crowded on weekends I avoid it.

We asked our cabin steward if he had been through the Suez Canal before and he said yes, during COVID.  The ship was in the Med and transited to return most of the workers to their home countries in India and the PI.  I thought this was interesting.

I woke up at 0330 worried about my taxes, so I got coffee and started plowing away.  And I discovered after filing I had mistyped my SS number by one digit, so return was rejected.  Easy fix fortunately.

I feared I'd get charged twice to file, which gets expensive as I file in two states now (last year for that).  Fortunately, I get a bit back (that was already withheld, so no boggee).

wont take long maybe 30 min pretty simple since I made no investments last year

My company gives out stock, and considering how it's pretty locked down and how it's done since I joined up, been selling when I can. 

This is gonna be mildly annoying.
