I’m America, we’re oft not decisive on much in the old culture wars. Other than being mad.

I love how you’re labeled as “mad “ for simply pointing something out. 

Nobody is mad.  Except maybe those who are being decisively divisive. 

It’s like golf to me.  People want to take mulligans and I always just say “hit it till you’re happy”

If people want their own anthem- sing until your happy. I sincerely doubt it will make them happy, but have at it.

Not agreeing is not the same as being mad. And it was you who introduced the “mad” label- as you often do.

I don’t agree with many things I see and hear- and there are a couple that are important enough to me that they do actually bother me.

Like throwing political grenades while shouting at the target to “ stop throwing grenades” ( which is the go to tactic of certain people around here)

But the question of adding National Anthems isn’t even close to a bothersome level.  In fact it fits into the humorous category. 

This post is not reducing the sense of being mad (grenades and such). I'm sorry you feel that you were targeted in some way.

Anyway. They sang a song. It apparently is often called the Black National Anthem. It's also, as far as I've read, a Christian hymnal. All these songs have whatever meaning we choose to bestow upon them. Since we choose to not sweat the small stuff, all sounds pretty mundane.
