ESPN+ has been showing the 2023 Handball World Championships. It's been an oddly enjoyable afternoon background thing to have on. USA qualified for the first time since 2001 (it's held every 2 years); and then won their first ever match, beating Morocco, to end an 0-23 streak.
That was enough to get them through to the 24 team 2nd round. They will likely get slaughtered, but it's been worth a casual follow
