Cristiano Ronaldo who is arguably the most famous athlete on planet earth- it’s either him or Lionel Messi- signs a contract with a Saudi Arabian club.

The deal is said to be 3 years guaranteed and Ronaldo is said to be making $213 million PER YEAR.

Holy shit. NIL ain’t shit lol.

Guy has enough money I’d imagine. But how can you turn down $600+ million more lol.

Recent picture of the Home Depot by my house. I know we had a hurricane, but it was 3 months ago, and I'm pretty sure Home Depot carries light bulbs in house.

I see one of their two founders got into a bit of trouble on the Internet (not that he cares) for saying socialism doesn't work.  Both of them have donated a ton of money for stuff around here.

This is why most wealthy folks keep their mouths shut.

I had heard of him, a bit, usually as "Ronaldo", but obviously soccer here is eighth string stuff.

It is rather interesting, I think it's not much in Canada either.

I thought I'd pass on something that happened to me so just in case it happens to you you'll be ready

I have a PayPal account and use it maybe 10 times a year

I got an email from PayPal saying someone was making a cash request to my account for $650

I went to my account and sure enough there was a $650 request for cash that was pending in my activity report

Someone that I didnt know just decided to reach out and take my money

I quickly cancelled the request and contacted PayPal to tell them what happened

Its amazing the balls some folks have

So if you use PayPal be aware of this scam

Just one of the many ways to get scammed. I’ve heard from people who had fraudulent charges on CC that are safely locked away in a safe, never used.  Gas station fake readers, skimmers, gift cards that get pulled from.

The thing is they dont have to have any info on your paswords or anything to do this

All they need to do is set up a PayPal account and then just submit cash requests on anyone who also has a PayPal account

To PayPals credit they remove these folks as soon as they find out about them but many times youve already been robbed

Its very possible you could still get your money back but what a lot of effort you will have to go through
