Sure they would they'd quit their jobs and join a Cali commune

Watched the Nolan Ryan documentary on Netflix last night.  It was pretty good.  Not exactly great strictly as a "documentary" as it lacked hardcore in-depth analysis of the ins and outs of his life and career, but very entertaining nonetheless.  I didn't know prior to watching one of his sons did the film and I suspect there was only so much "documentary" going to happen outside of tooting his dad's horn.

Still fun for me.  Ryan is to baseball for me what Jordan is to basketball....my childhood hero and the GOAT in my mind.

Oddly, as a boy I didn't daydream about pitching like Ryan, I dreamed about being a batter and getting a hit off of him.

Agree.  I enjoyed it.

I had the news on last evening, and I went in to make garlic bread.

I come out, and the wife has Saturday Night Fever on the tube. So, I watched that. Could not make that movie today, that's for sure.

Better than what he used to play, rather than watch Scott Frost coach a game

Electric Football Game - Kansapedia - Kansas Historical Society
my brother and I had hours of fun fighting over that game.  Ours seemed like the field was larger compared to the size of the players.
the forward pass wasn't real accurate
and the best part was we didn't have any dumb shit coaches back then

Interesting.  Wouldn't have expected to see anywhere in CA on the "moving to" list, but I suspect that's people fleeing other parts of Cali who don't want to move across country.
