Oh I don't ask anyone to drink it.  I don't serve it at the party.  That's my personal stash.

I grew up hating the stuff because all I'd ever had was storebought junk.  But one time early in our marriage, my i s c & a aggie wife made some of her family's homemade recipe, and it tasted like a completely different beverage.  And it was delicious.

JMO, obviously.  Lots of people don't like it, but I'm  guessing a decent percentage of those folks have never had a good homemade version of it.
Plus, like a white russian, if you drink too much of it, it's REALLY not fun.
For me, booze + dairy doesn't mix.

PromiseLand eggnog is delicious to me.  Every other store-bought brand is relatively gross. 

I thought about deleting the random emoji that shows up in the quote box but it seems to fit, albeit in the wrong season. 

EDIT:  nm, apparently the emoji doesn't make it to the actual post.  All this time I've been needlessly deleting those goofy things

This sounds like a loaded question.  But when it comes to putting weird stuff in your mouth, I don't think anyone can outdo those Cajuns in Lousiaiana.

Yeah a lot of folks seem to be that way.  I get it.  I never thought I'd like it myself, until a social situation sort of forced me to try it.  And I'm glad it did.

I preferred Blue Ash Chili to Skyline ....

It's not really cinamon flavored, but it is a bit odd.  Put enough cheese on it and hot sauce and it's fine ...

Sort of.

Early-on in our dating, my (then) i s c & a aggie gf had made her Great Uncle George's family recipe for a Christmas get-together at her parents' house.  When offered, I politely declined, and made the mistake of saying I didn't like the stuff.  Well then, she insisted in front of her family that I try it.  So, I figured I needed some brownie points to stay in her good graces, and that's why I tried it.

If I hadn't been trying to impress a girl, then I'd probably never have discovered its deliciousness.
