dude 100000% has serious CTE after a long pro football career which was followed by an MMA career. 

has nothing to do with ideology. more like idolatry. dude is probably the greatest athlete ever in the history of the state of Georgia. he's worshipped there. people vote for people they like or want to have a beer with. he's beloved in the state of Georgia = he's going to get votes.

oh and btw....speaking of not cognitively well...have you seen our fkn PRESIDENT. That is FAR more concerning to me and should be to everyone than a potential senator to be from Georgia.

Yep. Around half of voters in both PA and GA voted for a candidate with serious cognitive disfunction. 

Republicans in GA and Democrats in PA did it because they made a rational decision that they'd rather advance their ideological interests with a complete doofus in the Senate than vote for someone who seems competent but is ideologically unacceptable.
