word of the day on my dictionary app is "aegrotat"

--an unclassified degree granted a university student who has fulfilled all requirements for graduation but was prevented by illness from attending the final examinations.

Do we really need a word that means that?  This convinces me there is probably a word for everything.

Of course we do.  Otherwise you would have to explain to everyone what your degree is.  Now you can say it with just one word...before explaining to everyone what that word means

It would be nice to know the purpose of the dams in the first place.

Iron Gate Dam is an earthfill hydroelectric dam on the Klamath River in northern California, outside Hornbrook, California, opened in 1964. The dam blocks the Klamath River to create the Iron Gate Lake Reservoir. It is the lowermost of a series of power dams on the river, the Klamath River Hydroelectric Project, operated by PacifiCorp. It also poses the first barrier to migrating salmon in the Klamath. The Iron Gate Fish Hatchery was placed just after the dam, hatching salmon and steelhead that are released back into the river.[1] The Iron Gate Dam (National ID CN 001223)[2] along with the John C. Boyle Dam are two of four on the Klamath River that would be removed under the Klamath Economic Restoration Act.[3] As of February 2016, the states of Oregon and California, the dam owners, federal regulators and other parties reached an agreement to remove all four dams by the year 2020, pending approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.[4] As of February 25, 2022, the FERC released their final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the dam's removal. The Iron Gate Dam is expected to be removed sometime in 2023 or 2024.[5] A movement to Un-Dam the Klamath has been ongoing for 20 years to remove the dams.[6][7]

Sure. But there were probably ways to break it without becoming a sideshow in a month. The man does like being a side show.

I don't think he bought Twitter as any investment in any real sense.  I do find it interesting how he went from something of a liberal hero for some to now being an ultra con enemy.  (I view him as neither.)

My suspicion is Twitter was rife with folks who did no real work.

Lists ... made up by someone somewhere, probably going to change in a week anyway.  At least it includes some numbers.  Bo Nix is lighting it up statistically... so is Maye.  If UNC could beat CLemson?

His challenge is not having a CG in which to play.  The QB who excels in any CG that week will be top of mind for voters.

I don't think many of us here care either way really.
