Life is weird and unexplainable at times.

We took the subway back from the airport last night.  My wife doesn't like it, said she wouldn't do it without me being there.  There often is a pretty weird person on the train car, as was the case last night.  The individual was annoying but not dangerous that I could sense.  Another white older fellow was stoned out of his mind, apparently headed home with luggage and his wife.  Maybe he was just an idiot, hard to tell, but something reeked of MJ.

The train was pretty full, nearly so anyway.  My wife's preferred driver is $60 one way, the train costs us 70 cents each.  And a walk.

I work with a gal that likes to rearrange our workstation periodically, and she always asks me for input to which I reply "I'm the mover, you're the interior designer" which she generally likes.

Anyway this gal is difficult to flirt with because she is all prim and proper, and never wants to talk about anything but work. So this time when she was getting ready to rearrange things, I decided to switch gears and try to make her a little jealous. So when she asked me for my input on where I want things, I asked her to just make sure that she doesn't block my view of this other smoking hot babe that works there. Instead of getting jealous, she just keeled over and had a good belly laugh. I mean, she was just squealing like a little schoolgirl, no doubt at the very notion of me being able to land a date with the other smoking hot babe.

So that one may have backfired just a hair.

Me and a curvy blonde Mormon cowgirl in college that wears spandex to work everyday? Yeah, that's definitely happening.

Now she did put the shortest piece of furniture that we have between me and the curvy blonde spandex girl though. So that was nice of her.

Once at work (I should finish that book) the Company decided we all had to have a work station review by some person who purportedly would modify such things as needed for more effectiveness.  She came by and asked about my situation and I noted that as I'm tall, nothing about my desk was appropriate.  (I didn't really have an issue.)  She looked flustered and said I should call buildings and services and get it fixed, somehow, and ran off.  It was hilarious, to me anyway.  She was not smokin' hot.

When I left, I had to have an 'exit interview' with some HR lady I didn't know at all.  I waited outside at the appointed time as she and some other female retiree went 20 minutes over laughing and having a grand time about something, then she started asking me all sorts of pretty personal things to which I answered "I don't know" mostly.  My exit interview lasted ten minutes, she couldn't get me to respond to her questions.  I sensed it was to assess whether I would sue the company, I don't know why else it would be mandated.  I already had signed a release saying I wouldn't.

It was a local cottage industry suing the company apparently, or so a lawyer friend told me.  Someone would get a year's salary, sue the company, and get that trebled.  One lawyer in particular had the inside poll getting these folks to sue and he knew the company would fold every time.

You had to get past "woman" in order to make that determination?

Sounds like more of a debriefing than an exit interview
