So, the SEC fines teams when their fans rush the field.  Is that really an impediment?  Maybe a few hold back but most go anyway in the masses?

An atmosphere and football win that causes a field storming is the best possible recruitment tool for prospective students that universities have.

Florida doesn't storm the field.
1 - I'm not sure if they still do it, but they used to have cops on horses along each end zone as the games ended as a deterrent
2 - we're all probably so arrogant, that storming the field is for big upsets, and any time Florida wins in the Swamp, it's no upset.

Oh really,the Gators are 2-4 in conference this year so if UT,LSU,Bama,Ole Miss were to play & lose there this year,it's no upset.Yup you have magical powers alright,perhaps you meant magical powders

I saw a pretty humorous storming of the field over the weekend that I believe was historical for two reasons. 

  • It was the first time that fans have ever stormed the field at Dixie State/Utah Tech.
  • It was the first time that any fan base anywhere has ever stormed the field because they beat Southern Utah.
Now I of course cannot prove either of those claims. But come on.
