He won't offer solutions, but I think he's wanting some sort of universal health care for everyone, without the option of getting better care if you have money.

Maybe.

I know this one fellow who was adopted, I suspect his parents provided him with a solid foundation, but he built on that with engineering degrees, started his own company, did well in life, semi-retired to the South somewhere.

I'm aware I was born into a situation that afforded me inherent benefits, a middle class family and education, no huge advantages, but my parents believed in education.  I ended up OK also.

We started a scholarship at my kids' HS for students who did very well overall but had not specific point of excellence and wouldn't get an academic scholarship.  Most of the receipients came from disadvantaged families as it turned out, that wasn't a criterion but it informally became one, fine with me, it didn't go to students with wealthy parents.  One went to the son of our postal delivery guy.  It made a difference for them, a hand up for students who had worked hard.  We were invited to the wedding of one of them and we went, his father broke down in tears when we showed up.

If you think life isn't fair, and would like to remedy that to some modest degree, do something yourself, other than whining about it on message boards.  Help someone who needs help and make it slightly more fair.

You're not going to make it more fair by posting here.

Takeoff, one of the 3 members of the popular Atlanta based rap group Migos was shot dead at 2:30am this morning in Houston TX. Just confusing, he wasn't really one of those "gangster" rappers who was picking fights and causing trouble trying to be a gangster. Very sad and tragic, and it just seems like famous rappers are getting shot dead all of the damn time. It's crazy. You don't see famous pop, country, or rock artists getting shot dead out here.

At 2:30 AM, most of the other singer types are in bed, with someone else perhaps.

But.....whining on message boards is my thing.

Kinda limiting my options.

Not fair.
