Georgia Tech to break ground on two-tower Midtown project this week | Urbanize Atlanta

Tech is apparently getting a lot of money these days.  Some of it is from Asian students etc.  This is mostly a private donor apparently.

My son will be sending off his college admission application to GT here in about a week.
Just goes to show you how old we are getting.  I met 847Badgerfan at the infamous Wisconsin / Purdue Kyle Orton fumble game.  At that time, my wife was pregnant with said son.  
He's applying to GT, OSU, Purdue, and Stanford.  He's got high ambitions but has good grades with solid extracurriculars (Boy Scout Eagle, Robotics Club, Aikido, Capital University Junior Band).  But still, I keep telling him to add a lower level "safety" school, just in case.

So he might apply to Wisconsin.

He applied to OSU and Purdue, so safety school requirement fulfilled.

If he’s still dithering, just point out that he might end up at IU-Calumet.

Was finally able to have the marina get my boat down from the rack.

One of the cushions were damaged and that's it. Hard to believe it didn't fall down with the other 100 that did. 

Thankfully we bought a very heavy boat, I guess.
