Are you actually retarded?

Maybe because the prison wall isn't 2,000 miles long.  Yay, we made a circle!

Is there some sort of "worst retort ever" contest I'm not aware of here?
Your childish retort does nothing to further your argument. The fact of the matter is that walls and other physical barriers do a great job of assisting in preventing people from moving freely between the spaces that the barrier separates. They are not the only solution, but are a valuable part of a comprehensive system that would greatly reduce the number of people illegally entering our country. Ignoring this fact is simply willful ignorance.

Landmines and a moat with 30' Nile crocs would also help.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

That would involve too many dams and levees to make it work.

I have banned all dam and levee construction.

And good luck to you trying to immigrate to New Zealand.

Anyway, water is a good barrier to most.

I wouldn't tell that to Cubans and Haitians trying to flee their socialism though.

Haiti is a republic with a central government that features a President and a Prime Minister.  Not socialist.

A socialist state can easily have a President and a PM and a Legislature.  The two things don't overlap, at all.

Fair enough.  The Haitian economy is based on free market principles.  Just because they are poor and corrupt doesn't make them socialist.

One of my good friends is Haitian, and he would differ on that. He would say authoritarian most likely. There's not much separation of power there, if any.

I'll ask him when I next talk to him.

True enough there. The elites are not poor though.

Dams and levees. My mind is there now.

States like that are simply corrupt, majorly so, the "style" of purported government is irrelevant, really.  Venezuela probably calls itself a 'democracy' of sorts, but it's corrupt, even more than the US is.

I see folks arguing over whether Nazi Germany was socialist or not, they were corrupt and perhaps closer to a crony capitalist state where big industrialists in favor prosper.

I'd put China in this group today, though perhaps it's more "crony socialist".

So we went shopping on Sunday to get some things for the cabinets and fridge were surprised.

People are hoarding still. There was next to zero meat on the shelves at Aldo, Wal-Mart and Publix. No milk. Very little bread. TP very low.

I mean come on people. Now is not the time to replace every item in the freezer you may have lost. Other people need to eat too.

My good friend delivered 400 meals to linemen on Pine Island yesterday. Took him 5 hours to get there from Port Charlotte - a 45/50 minute drive normally.

I'd guess restocking the stores is a problem also.

Not really. There was plenty of food yesterday from what I was hearing. There is no major hinderance on transportation at this time.

Seafood is taking a hit, of course. Shrimpers and other boats are certainly not out in the numbers they were, pre-Ian.
