I suspect "they" don't see a need to correct every outlandish thing some kook says, much as Republicans often don't see a need to rebut something an extremist associated with their party has said.
Then they are allowing the extreme nut cases in the party, define them all.

The funny part is, when this whole thing came up then SCOTUS candidate Justice Brown not being able to define what a women was, I asked a friend that votes Dem about that and she defended her saying that we really don't know how to differentiate between men and women. This person is not a radical left wing nut job, but did not want to admit to the idiocy being spouted by the party she supports, that she could not argue against them.

People have lost their minds these days.

I suspect "they" don't see a need to correct every outlandish thing some kook says, much as Republicans often don't see a need to rebut something an extremist associated with their party has said.  For one thing, it calls attention to it, and for another, it would be nonstop.  And of course it affords good grist for Fox News to highlight (or MSNBC in reverse).

Many news outlets to me seem to be almost entirely focused on what silliness someone in the other party  may have done.

“ some kook”.  Lol. Come on man, you have people testifying before Congress that men can get pregnant. Multiple people. You have a Supreme Court justice who claims that. Stop pretending that it is a minority and an extreme position.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

OPEC announces they are cutting oil production by 2 million barrels per day. This is just a few months after Biden flew over to Saudi Arabia and got on all fours and sucked some Saudi D and begged them to drill baby drill.

Everyone can expect gas prices at the pump to shoot up soon.

Just find it comical a political novice like Trump basically had the Saudis wrapped around his little finger, and this brain dead senile fkn retard career do nothing 50+ year politician can’t even get them to take his phone calls. 😂

He has to fly over there and BEG for a meeting and beg them to increase production, only for them to tell him to pound sand and then months later announce they are cutting production, not increasing it. 😂

I suspect oil prices will go up, but not "shoot up".  I think OPEC+ is targeting for around $100/bbl, which would mean a 10% or so increase in gasoline prices, less really because factors like taxes and refining costs remain constant.

Still it's interesting timing with respect to midterm elections and the story that Biden was trying to craft on behalf of the Democrats.

The Saudis must REALLY hate themselves some Biden.

I suspect the timing has more to do with falling oil prices than a US election.

Most folks won't really notice a 10% increase in gasoline prices enough to alter their vote.

A 10% increase in fuel means a 10% increase in everything.

Trucks, ships, planes and trains don't get to Costco on solar power.

Meant to post earlier. Saw Marine One pass by our marina a little bit ago. POTUS probably flew into Sarasota. Maybe Fort Myers.

Marine One was escorted by 3 massive and loud copters but I couldn't see well enough to know that kind. They were black.

It's good that he's here, I guess. It's been 8 days.

I think any President touring a disaster area is a PR stunt with negative consequences.  I know it's expected today, but he can get a good briefing without visiting and causing the usual ruckus of such a visit, and of course it doesn't mean he's going to DO anything differently anyway.
