Does she come with the car when you buy it?

No, she is WAY more expensive than the car.

When I was at COTA, I did burn a lot of Michelin.  They changed tires after one day's use on those cars.  They had a Michelin guy there who was quite interesting.

One exercise was on a wet skid pad where we tried to drift, that didn't burn much, but the short course did, a lot.  It was fun to hammer the brake and then the accelerator to the floor and then lift off the brake and listen to the car shudder and skip.

Those summer performance tires are AMAZING for grip- especially on warm pavement.   Almost mind boggling.

But the trade off is- treadwear life is VERY short with those softer compounds.

My Gt 500 is wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S- max performance Summer, and my X3M Competition has Continental SportContact6.   Neither set will make it 10,000 miles

The interesting thing I learned from that Michelin dude was that they are great on wet pavement also.  Treadware is definitely shorter, by a lot.

Shockingly good on wet pavement. As long as temps are above 50ish.  In fact as long as the temperatures are up there, A good summer performance tire will handle heavy rain better than all season tires do

Tripling refining profits and strong gas trading has enabled Shell Plc (NYSE: SHEL) to report record profits in the second quarter this year, smashing its previous record three months back. The oil giant’s second-quarter adjusted earnings stood at $11.47 billion, above the $11 billion forecast by analysts in a poll provided by the company, Reuters reported.

It's Atlanta, the Chattahoochee River foreground.  I liked the photo, didn't take it.
