Trumps' biggest legal exposure is in Georgia. He's going to be charged with and convicted of election fraud there long before the federales get their act together.

There may be backlash if there is no charge, but there's a Grand Canyon between "I don't like Biden" and "I'm voting for Trump".

From what I read, if you were to get in trouble for something, it would probably be related to the fake electors thing.

But, we have a forgiving system for a lot of folks, so I’m guessing not much will come of it.

these electors were instructed that they would only act if the election results were overturned

otherwise they took no action

I’d have to dig into it. There was something out there about trying to cast doubt, push them through, etc.

It was also an odd move considering they already had a slate of electors to send if the election was overturned, but the strategy there seems pretty seat of the pants.

what they did was not a crime

it was only a contingency if the election was overturned

no action was taken to influence the court or to infringe the voters

unless something else comes to light this is just wishing from the left

Do you have a link talking about how they would only act if the results were overturned?  Haven't seen that (did a quick search but couldn't find it, and not planning on getting a Truth Social account any time soon...)
