What the heck is wrong with grits?

Why do people find them acceptable when you just change the name to polenta, which is the same thing?

Snobs.

Grits are not polenta at all.  Polenta is some kind of weird Italian sandwich.

Buccees has the cleanest bathrooms available anywhere on the road, and that is their value.  Also, their massive truck-stop-style areas of pumps, are easily accessible when I'm towing the RV or boat.

I'm not a cultist like some other Texans are about the place, but it's a great place to stop for gas and hit the head whilst on the road.  Nothing else even comes close.
Bucees cofounder is from my little town. The #2 store is right by my house and sadly it just closed. It was a small store but you could get in and out easy.

The owners are ags aren't they?  I give them credit, they sure do know how to clean a restroom. ;)

Seriously though, I absolutely prefer stopping at Buccees whilst roadtripping, especially when towing.

I don't believe that I have ever dropped a deuce in a truck stop or a rest stop.

That's what hotel lobbies are for.

Absolutely true.  Anyone staying at the hotel will use their own room.  Those lobby bathrooms almost always seem like they haven't been used in a week.
