So it would be pretty dang silly if they referred to "petroleum production" and "petroleum consumption" with different accounting. Using occam's razor, we can most clearly deduce that our 19 million in consumption is also the sum of "crude oil" "natural gas liquids" "biofuels and oxygenates" and "refinery processing gain".
and see I think they are only talking about crude oil and not including natural gas

I make that assumption based on the fact that in the same analysis they talk about crude oil production

so it would make little sense to talk about consumption of a different thing

I think they are using the word petroleum meaning crude oil

I will continue to study this to see if Im wrong

and hey if Im wrong so be it

This is one of those funny pieces of divisive clickbait. It's for the most part pointless, but it's an excellent example of the media deepening divisions for financial gain.

Another small bit of credence to my belief that it's not so much "the media dividing us" but instead a desire to divide ourselves that the media just plays a hand in deepening for profit.
How is that divisive?

I don't give a crap about what California calls bees.

I do wonder why court time was used for something like this. Seems like there are bigger bees to fry.

Poole was killing them.  They benched him, it swung the game.  Then they brought him back in after sitting out for nearly 2 quarters and he hits a pair of 3s.  I think coaching is overrated, but damn, Kerr pushes all the right buttons

Indeed.

In the past year I got a picture from my dad of Grandpa GR, who went ashore later in the afternoon on D-Day, taken somewhere in the Ardennes in February 1945. Not sure how Dad found it, but it's now in a prominent place in our house.

Did Grampa GR make it out of there?

In all of our years, I don't think I ever knew he was even there. Damn.

Yes he did. He sent arty shells at the Nazis from Normandy to Germany, and was deaf as a post in one ear because of it. Two Bronze Stars.

He also never told a soul about what he did in Europe during the war, including his wife of 54 years or my dad who drove a tank in Korea in 1968. We only learned about it on the day he died and we looked at his DD214.

Both my grandfathers died in the late summer/fall of 2001. I miss them both.

@GopherRock , how did Grandpa GR fare?

@847badgerfan , sorry I started a new thread for this, I hadn't checked this one first but I think D-Day probably deserves it's own thread anyway.  Merge if you think it necessary.

They really didn't believe in ear protection back then.  Even when my dad was in (1958-1961) he was in 8" Self-Propelled Howitzers and they NEVER wore ear protection.  Just the sound of the V12 engine was probably louder than a Rock Concert and the sound of those guns going off was damaging.  My dad eventually had hearing aids from the VA after my mom made him go get them because he couldn't hear her.
