Bastards penalized me $600.00+ for not reporting 1- $30.00 share that i didn't know that I had when there was a merger 🤬

I had some stock options which they had E Trade sell, I had no option.  So, I get the usual 1099 from my former company, AND E Trade sent in an IRS 1099 to the IRS, not me, duplicating the sale.  I sold the last batch last month.  E Trade massively screwed up my account when I was forced to open one so I could access said options.

I just had an in home health check provided by my insurance company.  I was curious, and they are supposed to send me a $15 gift card.

It was pretty impressive really, the lady had everything in a backpack and measured a lot more than I expected.  I appear to be in good health.

I now have 5000 bank accounts, each with $500 in them.

Simply a play on the dumbass $600 thing that the current administration would like to enact.

If the IRS was truly concerned about Americans doing their taxes quicker, they would argue for simplifying the tax code. This is nothing more than a grab for money and power. Simplify the tax code and abolish the IRS and we would be much further ahead.
