Even Einstein, who I admire quite a bit, made mistakes of course, one rather large one, probably.
Which one was that? Asking for a friend

Tesla was crazy, out there.  But he was right about AC, and Edison was wrong.

Tesla was right about some things, and Edison was wrong about some things.

Einstein was PROBABLY wrong about quantum mechanics.  Cute term.  At least he battled against it versus Bohr et al.  Bohr basically has prevailed, though it is very possible Einstein was right at a deeper level and QM is not the end of the line.  I'm uncertain about that.  Ha.

Einstein also inserted a "cosmological constant" in his theory of General Relativity, he called that his greatest mistake.  Now, yet again, it may turn out there is a such a thing in a different form.  But his theory predicted the Big Bang and black holes and universal expansion, but he inserted that correction because he couldn't bring himself to believe the implications.  Oops.

Nonetheless, the Theory of GR is one of the greatest in all of science, a masterpiece of intuitive thinking and hard math.  Einstein fairly often resorted to other to aid with the math.  And what he did in 1905 is really evidence for aliens in my view.

Georgia Tech project to modernize section of historic football stadium | Urbanize Atlanta

It is nice that Tech is upgrading the appearance of part of our stadium in Atlanta for their wobbling football program to play every other year a scrimmage game for us.

Wrong. People like to pretend that Trump and Putin liked each other. They didn't - but they DID respect each other, which led to complete inaction during Trump's 4 years.

2014 Putin invades Ukraine and annexes part of it.

2022 Putin invades Ukraine and is destroying it.

Connect the dots.
This is about as deep as one side gets.  I got 2 things here.  Connect them.  Boom!
You used to not embarrass yourself here.  Now it's gotten to be pretty common.
Sad.

On Musk:  it's not that he's a genius or a deity or a jackwagon, it's that he works long and hard.  He's an able-minded guy who works long and hard on big problems and big ideas.

The world benefits from guys like that.

That's about as spot on as any post here in memory.  He's also "loud", which is fine I guess, but polarizing for some.

People throw around the term disrupter too often.  If Elon Musk captained a bowling team they'd be the Disrupters.   The guy is constantly disrupting things.   I'm not exactly a disciple but really admire his ability to impact society.

Yeah, some of his ideas have apparently come to naught, but some have.  The roofing tiles that cost the same as a roof was one example.

There are some folks in history I really admire, but they all had "foibles".  Robert Burns Woodward was a real mensch, as was Ruchard Feynman, in the science fields, for Americans.  Feynman's lectures are on Utube and are brilliant.
