Don’t ever remember CNN running the story of that shitbag Newsome in California eating unmasked indoors with a group of 15 people from the health care & drug lobby at the most expensive and prestigious restaurant in the entire f**king USA- The French Laundry - while he had no indoor eating, no gathering, and strict masking orders implemented for the state. IMO most men don't have the mental/physiological attributes to be carrying a handgun for self defense

the number of women would be far less as a percentage, I'm guessing

but, that shouldn't limit their right to carry if they think they can handle it

i'll say this here... it's but a dark dusty corner of the interwebs where it's likely to never go anywhere... 

I carry for a reason that likely escapes most.... and, I've shot people before- both from a range and up close and personal.. so it's not like i'm speaking completely ignorant of what happens during and afterward. 

the reason i carry is NOT so much protection from the boogie man, but to keep ME in line.... yup- when i have, on my person, the ability to dramatically and drastically alter the course of a dispute now and forever, it keeps me from engaging ass holes that otherwise would be called out, and realizing calling them out would escalate into a altercation, which stands a percentage greater escalation to physical altercation, and which leads to people reaching for things to use as weapons because pride is more valued than discretion in the violent culture of those those assholes wandering around looking be calling out.
