Yes, it is definitely the right that is most likely to legislate manners, while legislating "hate speech" and thought crimes.

What was it that you were saying about not knowing the definition of the word hypocrisy? Do you have even a modicum of self awareness? These questions are rhetorical of course, we already know the answer.
I'm dumbfounded.
My point was that Rs want less government, except...
You go on to make a point that Rs are not more likely to legislate speech, when we'd all agree that Dems are for more government.......soooooo (all together now), Dems being more likely to legislate speech is vapid and obvious.  It's not hypocritical.
.
You're Exhibit A of my suspicion.  You don't know what hypocrisy is.
I mean Jesus Christ, man.  The point is that 'the right' claim not to want gov't overreach, but they're doing it here.
Going against their claims.
Not aligned with their supposed agenda.
Hypocrisy.
.
You are lost.

It’s too bad this Florida law doesn’t address creepy sex stuff. Maybe they should pass another law that addresses that more than the laws that already do.

(That Louisiana one is wild and gonna have some weird fallow if it matches that quoted part of the bill)
BB should write it, he's the only one obsessed with creepy sex talk.

yeah, great argument there....except for the fact that public school teachers work for the GOVERNMENT - and they have no free speech rights in the class room. Teachers don't have free speech rights as teachers inside the class room.
Of course, but no one wants the government to tell them what they can and cannot say.  None of you would like it.

This makes me chuckle a little, only because the old trope was "How am I supposed to explain that to my kids?"

Now it's "Only I can explain that to my kids."

How times change, indeed.
do you have children

if so did you want the school to raise them for you

Oh, the govt won't let creeps like fro talk about homosexuality to prepubescent children. It is an infringement on his first amendment rights, restricting both his speech and his freedom to practice his creepy political religion.

Parents raise children
I'd love for this to be true across the board.  It's not.  You know it's not.

You read my view on the matter, acknowledged it wasn't far off from your own, and now you're back on the same trope.

Your disdain exceeds your mind.

Lmao that’s funny cause it’s true. That is math racist bullsh*t started filtering out in 2019-2020 though, with articles in USA Today and The Atlantic and every other paper talking about it.

The useless worthless lying corrupt mainstream medias favorite f**face Bill Gates even donated $1 million to some bullsh*t book/study or whatever saying “math is racist”. Probably the only reason it was ever even reported on or talked about- seeing as that vile evil sniveling f**kface dweeb buys good pr and press via donations to major mainstream media companies. To the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

That was me that acknowledged we were not far apart- not Brutus.

So in my organization of over 1200 employees I am the executive sponsor for an employee support group for LGBTQ. It’s one of many that we have including African-Americans former military and women.

There’s a reason I do this and I will share a personal bit of why. My oldest brother has been openly gay for many many many years. He was at a high level, and on the front lines in the fight to make it legal for same-sex marriage. When that fight was win, I was the best man at his wedding.  I watched what he went through for all those years and gained a great appreciation for it.

The group I am an ally for has a purpose of making everyone feel comfortable in their own skin regardless, in the workplace. Not to be Marginalized or discriminated against.  I believe that is critically important and a basic human right.
I also think the overwhelming majority fell this way.  Yes, even the “Rs” as you call them.

Where the differences begin- for me- and others- us to the question of where fairness ends and indoctrination begins.

Like you- I don’t believe we SHOULD have laws that require it, or ban it.
But here we are.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Great story HB.

I don't know about having a law or not having one, but seeing so many teachers protesting it tells me what I need to know.

Anyway, this is a dead horse and I really think we need to focus on solving other world issues now.

Everyone good with that?

Biden nominates new ATF chief, announces slate of gun reforms (msn.com)

Picked up 3 new guns last week. A nice shotgun, a new 9mm S&W pistol, and an AR kit that my son will build for me.

Pretty well-armed now in this house.

Going for concealed carry soon, with the wife.
