Do you live in a cave in the Himalayas

Just go to google and type Florida school districts forcing transgender on young students without parents permission and bingo you'll get a shitload of articles
This is amazing.

Your first paragraph has nothing to do with your 2nd paragraph.  You made quite a leap there.

The story about DeSantis and that 'thing' in FL is another faux-outrage "story" like critical race theory.  Republicans found a shiny red button on their electronic board that they realized they can push as many times as they want, and it keeps the constituency up-at-arms over and over again.  No matter how many times they push it, they get upset and start insisting laws are passed to combat NOTHING.

No sane 2nd grade teachers are discussing trans issues in public schools.
No sane 7th grade teachers are discussing critical race theory in public schools.

These are invented issues one certain political party is using to fearmonger its base into action.

100% false.

Denying that critical race theory is being taught in schools has been debunked and proven wrong, and documented over and over again.

I watched numerous Florida teachers protesting the legislation DeSantis signed and they all openly admit they want to talk about their personal lives to their young students including what they did with their “partner that weekend”.

Your answers are getting stale. Denying that antifa exists, Denying that Hunter Biden’s laptop exists, Denying that they’re teaching critical race theory in schools, denying that teachers are talking to young children about their genitals, you need to come up with a better defense for what you are doing. Trying to deny what is obvious continue to say it doesn’t exist it’s not working for you guys anymore and that’s why your poll numbers are so horrific.

Your group try to deny that crime is a problem, tried to deny that you were calling for defunding the police, try to deny that inflation is a problem, tried to deny that gas prices are a problem and on and on and on.  Eventually you start to realize that everyone knows you’re full of shit and then you start to address the problem or at least try to. Why don’t you just skip the bullshit and go right to the heart of the matter.

The people protesting and shit talking DeSantis for signing legislation are not denying that it exists. They want to be able to talk to kindergarten through third graders about sexual orientation. They openly admit they do. Try to keep up

I'm aware that you're the target audience for the shiny button the republicans keep pushing.

And by the way- the majority of Americans polled strongly agree with the legislation Desantis just signed.

The “Don’t say Gay” lie from you guys and your pet media worked for a while- until people with a brain actually started reading the legislation.

Now since you’re a teacher, I shouldn’t assume you agree that teacher shouldn’t be talking to kindergartners about their genitals. Maybe you feel different, no pun intended

I'm aware that you're the target audience for the shiny button the republicans keep pushing.
And you’re the typical deniers of the failure of all the things you support.

Teachers in Florida and many LGBTQ community, openly want students to hear that language from their teachers. Do you support that? Yes or no.

Lower elementary teachers have no reason to discuss any of that with their students.  That's why I said no sane teacher would do that.

You're doing the exact playbook here, now, though.
Invent a problem that isn't actually a problem, suggest teachers are conspiring to do verbal porn with 6 year olds, then asking if I support that.

You're a puppet and DeSantis has his hand up your ass.

And yet I’ve been watching teachers interviewed all week that openly say they want to discuss that stuff. You’re continuing your stupidity and dishonesty.

The real shiny red button that you and other idiots ascribe to is that somehow it’s homophobic to not let a teacher discuss gender orientation and their genitals with five-year-old.

Yet here you are making that case as predictable. You just have your head up your ass but as long as you can’t lay a finger on five  year olds- I support the legislation

if what you said was actually correct or even close to it - the legislation would not bother you but obviously it does. Looks like we hit a nerve Here.

if it's not real and not such a big deal than why are LGBQTRETARD teachers quitting all over Florida? Why is a piece of shit asshole company like Disney saying they are going to fight to overturn the legislation?

Disney- the wonderful woke company that has: monopolized and consolidated entire industries, used it's massive power to influence/change United States copyright and intellectual property right laws for the worse, run sweatshops in China, sued the shit out of elementary schools and day cares for drawing/painting the rat on school property, sued the family of a kid who died to take the image of Spider-Man down from his headstone, pioneered distribution contracts that borderline on mafia racketing, been nothing but a hazard to the labor movement, and has been rife with sex scandals (the previous VP of the company is in prison over child sex abuse charges).

F**K the rat.

Oh yeah, how could I forget- Disney was a huge backer of that disgusting scoundrel Harvey Weinstein. Disney gave that disgusting rapist human filth scumbag millions and backed his Miramax studio and wound up purchasing Miramax from Weinstein for over $60 million and then paid him millions to continue to run it. And when he left to open The Weinstein Company- they backed him then too.

F**K the rat.

I am all for free speech. Those aren't examples of restricting free speech to me.

Twitter/FB should be classified as public utilities- no different than the telephone if you ask me. In many ways they are the new town square if you will. Restricting speech on those platforms to me is a complete violation of free speech rights.

You can have a blog or publish whatever you want. Someone can also sue you or threaten to sue you for libel. That is not restricting free speech. The guy could've kept publishing whatever he wanted-he chose not to.

Canceling someones order of a product you make is also not restricting free speech.

Firing an employee for popping off at the mouth is not restricting free speech.

Restricting free speech is restricting free speech. That's it.
This narrow view is, again, disappointing.

These are real issues of free speech. Real questions about how we as a society prevent dialogue that might offend the powerful from being chilled. And it's all brushed aside. Why? I have guesses. Shoot, libel lawsuits are very, very much threats to free speech.

Explaining that "Restricting speech on those platforms to me is a complete violation of free speech rights" is not very meaningful. You have no right to speak on Twitter. None. At all. You have an allowance from the people who run it, as it is a private platform. That is how this works. The same way the managers of this board could throw us off if they saw fit (they can also delete our posts, when they so choose). And a powerful person thrown of twitter or Facebook, they have many, many avenues to speech. They're free to start competitors, join already existing competitors.

If a social media platform want to throw someone off, that's an actual exercise of a first amendment right, the freedom of association. And what so many want seems to be that for exercising that first amendment right, the owners should be deprived of property.

I suppose if we think about speech in the most narrow ways, with out feelings being the guide, we'll land at the same place. We'll fire off our political takes, wrap them in the mantle of "free speech" because it makes us feel
righteous, and work to erode the meaning of this bedrock of our great country.

(And if Elon starts banning his critics, I'll be in the same corner. He'd 100 percent have the right to do it, and he'd be showing his words about free speech were simply empty)
