Just wondering if twitter censorship will be truly gone
Nah, they’ll be better about deleting mean stuff about Elon.

Elon seems pretty wound up about censorship so it will be interesting

He’s taken steps to punish people who say things that are mean to him in several cases.

It’s an odd bit about what we are as a society. People who don’t like censorship often want to censor. People who speak highly of rights in the constitution often want to dramatically curtail  rights enshrined in the constitution. Those who hate cancel culture often cancel. Those who believe in government are often skeptical of parts of it, while those who perport to strongly distain government often put extreme faith in it.

Because when faced with facts and logic from other individuals, they remain unswayed.

That's not a joke, it's the answer to your question.
Lol. Newsflash: CNN/MSNBC contain about as much fact and logic as a fart from my ass.

He wasn't gonna get a fair shake from the MSM from the very beginning. Same goes for the deep state and many prominent members of his own party.

He was undermined and torpedoed for 5 years, and unlike other POTUS's, he lost wealth in the process.

I'm kinda surprised (OK, I'm really not - ego too big) he still wanted the job.

All that said, I truly hope he does not run again in 2024. Let DeSantis or Tim Scott have it.
Trump is the best chance the Republicans have in 2024, according to all the early polling right now. He just has to keep his mouth shut. COVID and some of the ridiculous sh*t that came out of his mouth cost himself the last election if you ask me. The entire press lining up to squash/suppress and discredit the obvious true story of Hunter Biden's laptop from hell certainly may have cost him as well.

As far as the deep state thing goes- that sh*t was WILD. You basically saw the CIA work in tandem with the Democratic party to take down an elected republican President. That interview with Chuck Schumer where he warned Trump before Trump ever took office to leave the intelligence services alone and that they have "six ways from Sunday to get back at you" gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. CRAZY shit.

examples, please? there's a massive difference between censorship and suing someone for defamation or libel. and also a massive difference between firing someone or disciplining someone who works for you who is out of pocket with their mouth or going after someone who opens their mouth after they've signed an NDA.

the dems have never been as left as they are right now

thats the difference
dems are left in rhetoric, not action.

the ones that are truly "left"- like AOC- don't really have any power and the little power they could have- they don't leverage. Most of them don't stand for anything- AOC is all talk, no action. talked a big game to get elected, and now all she seems to do is just to draw attention to herself- and is obsessed with being a celebrity. seems like that's just par for the course with most politicians in DC.

That has nothing to do with the conversation.  He asked a genuine question and I provided a genuine reason.  It wasn't political, tbh.

How would they be any different?
DeSantis doesn't have diarrhea of the mouth, is a war veteran, has extensive experience being a politician before going into the job, doesn't attack people on twitter, is as far as we can tell- in a committed relationship with one woman (aka not a womanizing whore like Donald Trump) and well just seems like a better human being in general. I think they'd be vastly different.

So one guy was improving the situation and the other guy is making the situation much worse and you understand that but yet you’re equally disappointing with both?
How's that wall coming?

I disagree with your first and last 2 opinions.

If the dems dont change their far left leaning attitudes they will never again control any of the branches of government
Only far right leaning attitudes here!

I'm only a Floridian, but what would I know.

I don't see DeSantis as having diarrhea of the mouth. He's nothing like Trump in that regard.

My answer wasn't political either. Cincy hit the nail on the head...

I think the bottom line of this "study" is the opposite, if one accepts that CNN gets closer to "facts and logic".

I think the conclusion is obvious, folks form their opinions based on what they get fed, and then cling to them by only dining on what they like to eat.  I would guess one could take an MSNBC devotee and feed them Fox News for a month or so and watch their opinions "evolve".

Study was just showing how easily people can get indoctrinated/propagandized.
