Yes, I had seen that.  It still leaves many questions unanswered.

What percentage of asylum seekers are granted asylum?  What percentage are released into the US for a later court date?  What percentage of them appear for their court date?  How many folks cross who are not detected by BP?  What happens to those under the "apprehension" columns versus expulsion?  What has been the specific impact of Biden policy changes on the various numbers?

To me, it's very confusing.

the dirty little secret is the Gov is not telling you this info on purpose

they are trying to do this as quietly and under wraps as possible

I do not understand what is meant by apprehension.  Expulsion would seem to require apprehension as a first step.

And he's from Iowa.  I think everything he's claiming is deceptive, or a flat out lie.

why would you post something you dont understand

looks to me that expulsion has decreased and apprehension has increased

which to me means more illegals are being detained and released into this country

I think all of them were apprehended 100% and the expelled is that portion of the 100% that were sent back

Grassley has been in politics a LONG time

he's experienced at deception

but, he knows his voting base, high percentage of corn farmers and others that rely on farm ag economy
E85 price shouldn't raise in the same percentage as straight gasoline, until corn prices rise.

I would guess there are many more illegals coming across the border since Biden was elected and changed the message than a few months ago when Trump was sending a tougher message

I don't like the idear of that, but I didn't like the idea that plenty were still coming across when Trump was standing behind the podium talking tough
