I've moved on to fantasy, now.  I also wrote one nonfiction book.

I did enjoy thinking about what might have happened had the South won the war.

I'm pretty down to earth about my writing skills, I can't say they are that good of course, but I enjoy the process.

I think even if the south had won slavery would have ended anyway in 12-25 years. I imagine the N and S states would have been in a perpetual Cold War for 20-30 years. Strange thing to think about.

Yeah, my "hero" in the books was antislavery, as was Stonewall Jackson (who lived in the books).  The North split into three different countries as well, it was a mess.

The Mountain regions around WV congealed into "Franklin", a separate entity, and the midwest split off as well.  The Confederacy just got mired in bickering and all sorts of problems, including debt of course and inflation.

You’re saying they should’ve reported this in October of 2020?

A laptop comes to mind, and is mentioned in this ABC story, but they participated in the cover-up. We all know this.

The concrete path is a recently completed portion of the Belt Line in a lesser trafficked area.  Someday they claim to want to run light rail down it, I'm against that option.
