:34:  It didn’t take you long to come in here and turn the tide of this against those writing this garbage. That is your MO.

Do you realize that this is not a one off article by some off-the-shelf rag but rather a narrative that’s been picked up by many in the mainstream media? That was Forbes.  There are many others- it’s their narrative  It’s not for clicks. It’s what they believe. Defend it all you want.  Blame those who are hearing this absolute garbage instead of calling out the morons writing it.  That’s your thing.
My thing is to warn people to not encourage things they don’t want to see in the world by pointing out the things that encourage it. I do this because I work in marketing and am oft impressed in the cynical side of it.

We’re pretty deep into the calling out cycle on all sides. Back and forth, back and forth, year after year. And the morons in both sides, they seem stronger than ever.

If we’re going to have a policy of “ignore the things in the world that you strongly disagree with and you think are dangerous“ then let’s be universal about it. Let’s stop talking about Ukraine and anything else where people have differences of opinion.

Silly- isn’t it.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

money does not = speech and corporations are not people. period.
Corporations do have some of the same rights as individuals.  Drawing that line if what the decision was about.

Not making fun. It read like you called yourself a steer, and that’s a treatment I wish on no man.

I mentioned before I was on the fringe of a lobbying effort.  It related to a patent bill before Congress.  The area is highly technical, and if left to actual people in Congress it could not possibly come out well.  The same is true for their aids.  A lot of these bills are very involved and very technical, not something a generalist can write or consider.

What Congress has done largely to date is basically say something like "Pollution is a problem, we're creating an Executive agency to fix it, with power to do stuff."

They have shifted power to the Executive branch in abdicating their authority, because they can't handle such issues.  Then the "EPA" (in this case) hires bureaucrats and "experts" of whatever ilk and is empowered then to do stuff.

I got myself backed into dealing with OSHA, twice, and lab safety in general.  The OSHA inspector could not understand the CFR (nor could I), he was on the phone with DC for a while and still couldn't figure it out.  It had one rule in conflict with another CFR regulation.  I then was viewed as some kind of regulatory "expert", which relative to our own regulatory experts was likely the case.

EPA regs conflicted with local MSW regs, directly and specifically.   The local regs were written by a simpleton.  That got fairly entertaining as work goes.
