Let's presume Hunter never got into drugs at all, not a thing, the rest of this appears to be a real story, absent any drug use.

As for Trump and his ilk, I hope they get whatever justice should be applied to whatever they have done also.  But it's a separate topic, a whataboutism, a distraction, like claiming the Biden story is about drugs.

I don't care what a son did about drugs, it's his affair, other than being sad for a life apparently wasted.  The ten percent for the Big Guy is a point of real concern.
Some real "I'd prefer not to address that" energy here

I'm all for charging Trump et al. if he broke the law.  At least in that case we have several official investigations happening.  Great, I'll see what they produce.

That is in contrast with "ten percent for the Big Guy".  Maybe that didn't mean anything, but it seems to warrant a look in my view.  My guess is Republicans retake Congress in November and squander a lot of time with lame "investigations" of Biden that yield little or nothing.  They aren't very good at it from what I've seen.

Investigations often are just political ploys, not real investigations.  I would be shocked at how obvious questions would not be asked on TV to the point I realized they were hearings for political optics.

This thread is funny.  You are discussing Hunter Biden and the cover up around his laptop which includes proof of corruption and tax evasion. But then our two resident lefties, Sam and Frodo turn it into a conversation about Trump.  😂😂😂

That’s all they have and that’s all they ever have. And it’s much to do about nothing of course.  But they are very artful at it. You mentioned our vegetable in chief and his obvious And repeated failures and shortcomings and the next word out of their mouth is Trump.

I think they’re lying dog face pony soldiers. 😂😂😂

As I noted, we have investigations into Trump, fine with me.  Do we have anything about Biden?  Nope.

We likely will come next January, more for show than go.

I am a bit curious how a lendee can over value his assets to get a larger loan.  Whose fault is that, the lender or the lendee?  I don't know.  Seems odd to me.  And then if you undervalue the same assets for tax purposes, well, I don't see that either, it's all public record.  The assessor around here doesn't take my word for it, nor does my loan entity, they sent out an appraiser.

There is an investigation into Hunter, but not Joe, so far as is known.

LOL. I realize defending Trump is usually an exercise in denying reality. I think my favorite bit is the one where bringing up Trump, the former president and the current Republican frontrunner for 2024, is somehow akin to bringing up Millard Fillmore.

Who here is defending Trump?  I may have missed it.

The topic drifted off to Hunter Biden, a topic that has zero to do with Trump, but we could discuss the various investigations into Trump, since we discuss everything and nothing here.  Off the top of my head, Trump is being investigated for:

Tax evasion in New York (recent new on that seemed to suggest this was perhaps ending)
Something about over valuing his properties to get loans in NY
Interfering with election officials in Georgia (not much news has leaked on this front)
January 6 (the House)
Probably some other things too.

its not that. Its the fact when the dems run against Trump they wont talk about the good things they will do for the country but just bad things Trump does.  Your whole campaign is not what you will do for the country but why you should not vote for Trump.

Its very obvious that the dems dont want the voters to know what  their true agenda is and thats why all they have to talk about is bashing Trump.

Thanks for continuing to prove my point. You’re not capable of discussing current affairs because you’re still suffering major TDS

You should tell that to the Ohio Republican senate candidates

In my view, both parties do this.  Negative advertising works, laying out what you propose to do doesn't, other than in some vague hand waving notional fashion.

I don't blame them, I blame "us".
