Carlin was great (edited for kids).

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'd like to- Thank you, thank you.

I’d like to begin by saying F Lance Armstrong.

F him and his balls and his bicycles and his steroids and his yellow shirts.

And the dumb, empty expression on his face, I'm tired of that asshole.

And while you're at it, Fuck Tiger Woods, too!

So I went bobsledding this week in Park City.  I've done a few high speed thrill rides before but this one is a bit different.   The Gs and the feeling of helplessness is quite a rush.  Kind of starts like a roller coaster that basically comes off the tracks and you just hold on to the end.

So cool.  I’ve always wondered what that’s like.

Yeah I've always wanted to go bobsledding, too.  It's one of my favorite Olympic events to watch.

Someone recommended the show "Billionaires" and I started watching.  The nice thing is they have two actors I like.  The actual business parts are quite muddled, to me anyway, they probably could have done a better job with an actual financial consultant helping the writers on things like how hedge funds operate and what short sales and insider trading actually are, but I don't expect much accuracy from "Hwood".  I'd give the show a B overall.

I'm the guy who spoils movies by noting inaccuracies in them.  Ha.

My wife has taken to watching Perry Mason reruns, and Matlock, and I will watch a bit with her.  The PM shows get rather complex and I lose track of who is who.  They get some pretty big name stars on that show at times.

I bet they'd wonder where the flying cars are.  Aside from cell phones in our lives, a lot of other stuff would look pretty mundane to them.  A microwave would seem magical.

They might be amazed at seeing how diverse the population is in the US today, how many folks are of different skin tones walking about.

Prosecutors say that the conspiracy was led by Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes, who rallied the group to prepare for violence in support of former President Trump's baseless claims of a stolen election, going so far as to purchase thousands of dollars worth of firearms and weapons equipment before and after Jan. 6.
The indictment alleged that groups of Oath Keepers moved into the Capitol in two military-style "stack" formations. Prosecutors say that James was the leader of the second stack, which entered through the east side of the complex and attempted to force its way past police officers.
According to the indictment, James got into a violent altercation with officers, who used pepper spray on him and another member of the stack

The ad comes up on my FB feed routinely now, $45, seems a bit odd to me.

NFL Draft 2022: Todd McShay reveals top five running back prospects (247sports.com)

It's a list, so whatever, but it's amusing to me he has Cook at No. 3 when he didn't start at UGA.

I thought Cook was a good RB but not as good as Michel or Chubb (who I thought was terrific).  Zamir White could be a better NFl back than Cook, don't know.

Chicago might be the most corrupt city, but I'm willing to bet Louisiana has Illinois beat as a state.  At least, on a per capita basis.
