I'd bet every European country has extreme Neo-Nazi groups, including Russia.

Russian National Unity - Wikipedia

Far more Russians fought with nazi Germany, than did Ukrainians.  Russia has a nazi problem.

cool story.

is the US supporting those neo-nazi groups in other countries with arms and training like they did in Ukraine? is the US embracing founders of those neo-nazi groups like they did with Andriy Parubiy and Oleh Tyahnybok in 2014?

are those countries funding neo-nazi group programs like Ukraine government did with C14? are those countries incorporating neo-nazi groups into their armed forces like Ukraine has done with the Azov Battalion?

Thanks for playing.

There was a Russian/Ukrainian battalion near Omaha Beach on D Day, about ten miles inland near Bayeux.  Predictably their main goal was to surrender.  Give a choice between a POW camp and being part of the German Army, I might choose the latter.

The Germans had a chance to attract Ukrainians to their cause and muffed it of course.

Cool. This is just a stupid comparison as there were and are far more Russians than Ukrainians. Russians hate Nazi's far more than Ukrainians is my guess, as the Nazis killed tens of millions of Russians.

And that totally explains why huge chunk of the Ukrainian population considers Stepan Bandera - a literal nazi collaborator - a hero in Ukraine- and the new right-wing government of Ukraine that the US helped put in power in 2014 - has even renamed streets for him all over their country. The new government in 2014 even renamed a street in Kyiv from Moscow Avenue to Stepan Bandera Avenue.

Cool.  Totally explains why Putin is killing thousands of people in a neighboring country.

It's your go-to move.  Really, it's your only move, since the discussion at hand is Putin invading and killing thousands of people.

The most effective propaganda has kernels of truth.

Putin claims Ukrainian leadership are neoNazis to justify his invasion, at least for internal consumption.

Good thing it's not working and everyone sees right through it.  Only stupid people buy it.
