No thanks.  Russia isn't appealing enough to covet by a hostile foreign country.
Arms control treaties being ripped to shreds and a hostile military alliances' continued expansion more and more on their borders which include neighbors that have historical grievances with Russia- not to mention US helping to overthrow a neutral if not slightly pro-russian democratically elected government in Ukraine in 2014 and then hand pick the interim government - a very anti-russian government with albeit a small but very powerful ultra-nationalist/neo-nazi wing- and then flooding said new government with lethal arms = a powder keg.

They see all of this as a threat. Which, I can't say I blame them. Have to look at things from their point of view. Not ours.

Azov Battalion. Might want to google them. The US state department classified them as a hate group. Congress still found it wise to send flows of arms and cash to them. Those sort of ultra right wing/nationalist/neo-nazi militias - that the US supported - are what overthrew the democratically elected government in Ukraine.

did I say that one time? No, I didn't. Lol. I think I've said quite the opposite, many times. 

Putin stretches the truth massively with the neo-nazi stuff- but there is a very small, albeit powerful wing of that in Ukraine- and that wing was instrumental in overthrowing the democratically elected government in 2014- and the US absolutely openly supported that wing. 

The real problem they have is that their government has endorsed neo-nazi groups (funded C14 programs, Azov Batallion is an official part of their national guard forces) and has failed to enforce the law and punish hate crimes committed by members of some of these groups.

Onlyfans being taken down now? Lol. Pornhub has blocked all access to Russian ip addresses with Ukraine flags showing up when they try to login to pornhub. 

Would be hilarious if Putin got overthrown because no one in Russia could get their porn. Lol.
