I'll remind all of you jackwagons that it was CINCY that started the Jeep talk on this thread.

I suspect he was trying to respond to my posting of a weird crazy jacked-up Jeep on the Weird History thread but posted his response here by mistake.  Regardless, HE'S the one that started it, ya fargin bastages.
Did not.

Horns should be very good this year, Omaha-worthy once again for sure and honestly anything less would be disappointing.  I don't know much about your Tide beisbolers but I watch a lot of college baseball and most D1 teams have at least one really good arm that can beat an opponent on the right day, so Alabama taking one wouldn't surprise me at all.

It's going to be really cold for the series.  Like, currently 39 degrees in Austin and it will only get cooler into evening (game just started at 4:30).  And tomorrow high of 41 but drizzly.  Sunday should be better, high in the upper 50s and partly sunny.

I might make it out on Sunday, I'm definitely not going to be there today or tomorrow because I really, REALLY hate the cold.
i usually don't pick up baseball until well into the season. i'll catch scores and whatnot, but not going or watching games until then. bama suffers from limited roster talent due to scholarship limit rules and our state's refusal to play the gambling game like most others do (politics, amiright?. we'll have a good team every 5-8 years, but not consistent. looking like this might be one of those years, but we'll see. long long way to go and this will be a good barometer of if we have a chance or not.

Major powers like to have buffer zones and maintain spheres of influence. This is nothing new. The US doesn't try to maintain a sphere of influence over just a handful of bordering states- the US has said for almost 200 years now - the Western Hemisphere is OURS- half the entire f**king planet. OURS. F**k with us, find out. It's not unreasonable for Russia to not want further NATO incursion on their borders. At all.
Agreed.
But who is the failed geography scholar in the government that thought the Middle East was in the Western Hemisphere?!?

I continue to be amazed at all the protesting going on in Russia in many cities

I wonder if they will start freezing bank accounts like comrade Trudeau

hey man, I personally think Jeeps are pretty god damn cool.
Those Jeep trucks are plentiful here.  I prefer the 90s Cherokees and Grand Cherokees, personally.

It's one of the few uplifting scenes from the past few days, seeing the young Russians that don't buy into Putin's bullshit and are willing to go to jail for it.

Would be wonderful if it lead to Putin getting overthrown, but I highly doubt it.

saw somewhere that one of putin's daughters posted "stop the war" or somesuch on twitter or instagram, but was quickly taken down. maybe there is some dissension in the ranks.

edit, apparently it was daughter of spokesman for putin, not putin's daughter.

It takes some real guts to protest in Russia obviously, I wouldn't do it now, but I'm old.

Putin might get forced out if this venture fails badly and causes severe repercussions.

The numbers are less important than the delivery systems and their capabilities and intended uses.  Accuracy can be a factor, but "ease" of delivery and reliability are clearly facors in any nuclear exchange.
man that would be beyond scary if Russia and US went to war and it went nuclear. Holy shit balls.

probably only really high-ups in the military and oligarchs could get rid of him. if the invasion fails spectacularly military going to be pissed at him. if US/EU gets tough af on the sanctions and seizes assets and deports oligarchs, those dudes will be pissed at him.
