again I have no problem with airlines not allowing political messages as long as they enforce it for all points of view
I kind of do. I mean, they totally could do that if they wanted, but I'd sort of have a problem with it. Wear what you want, for the most part.

That said, if a staffer went rogue and started something for sort of silly reasons, they should be disciplined (probably not fired because I think as a society we're super, super fast in calling for people to be fired)

If an item of clothing seems likely to cause dissension, I can understand it being disallowed.  That's a fine line.  Would a BLM mask be allowed?  A Che Guevera shirt?

How about F Donald Trump?  Whatever their policy, it should be spelled out on their web site and explained to passengers.

For big advocates of free speech but who also support expanded privatization of large sectors of our society, those 2 things are inevitably at odds.  Please understand this.

Our free speech ends when implementing the services of a company, no matter how widespread or mainstream it happens to get.  Twitter, airlines,......perhaps schools in the future.....all our free speech is gone when a handful of companies owns everything and provides us everything.

We're at their whim when it comes to what we can say and display.
Just consider that.

Who supports more privatization of large sectors of our economy?  What sectors would those comprise?  Airlines are privately owned today, so are many schools.  Twitter?

I'm not sure what large sector of our economy could be privatized much more than it already is.  The police?  Military?  You seem to be talking about an oligopoly where a few companies run nearly everything, which is not the case today obviously, and few want it to be the case.

There is a difference between having things privatized and having those things run by a handful of companies.

OK, so a small portion of our economy is dominated NOW by Facebook and Twitter.  What large sector of our economy COULD be privatized from here?

I was mostly considering schools.  Here in AZ, the republican state senate would dismantle public education and exclusively privatize it if they could.
Who wants more privatization?  Are you kidding?

The bold part above is abjectly false.  I think if you were 25 years old, you'd understand why.  Our economic system inevitably leads to only a handfew of companies owning everything - on a long-enough timeline.

I'm not saying they can't (and if they want, they can discriminate).

I have a problem with it because I think it would be sort of chintzy and weird. While you're wearing something that implies a curse, it doesn't actually say it. I just think such a thing would be dumb. It could be allowed, but I'd say, "well that's kinda dumb" And at 30,000 feet, I hope that people can act like grown a*% adults.

(TBF, I preferred the old politics rules, but the world changes and we must adapt)

Other than the egg lobby, our economy is extremely fragmented and is not an oligopoly at all.   There is a nice table in the link below showing the major sectors of our economy, there are MANY, and they reflect the fact we have MANY businesses.  The US was close to an oligopoly circa 1890, it's not remotely close today.

2021 U.S. GDP By Industry (forbes.com)

Looking at industry groups on the broadest level, the group with the largest GDP in Q1 2021 is Finance, insurance, real estate, rental, and leasing, with approximately $7.87 trillion in output. In second place is Manufacturing, with a GDP of $6.4 trillion; this is followed by Professional and business services, with a reported $4.5 trillion in gross output for Q1 2021.

The smallest company on the S&P 500 has a market cap of over $14 billion.

Yes, federal law requires every person to wear a face covering that covers the nose and mouth at all times while traveling. Face coverings must be made of a solid material, fully cover the mouth and nose, fit snugly against the face, and be secured under the chin. Prohibited coverings include those with exhalation valves, holes (such as lace or mesh), neck gaiters, and bandanas. Face shields may be worn in addition to a face covering, but not as an alternative.

Learn more about the CDC’s face covering recommendations here.

From Allegiant web site.  the man's mask was rather loose and dropped below his nose often.
I missed the votes in the house and senate on this, and the executive signing.

More properly it would read that Congress has vested the FAA with the power to make this a law, in effect, an enforceable regulation.

This is pretty common with regulatory agencies.
