Russia better invade and take Kiev or Biden/US going to lose what little shred of credibility they have now.

The headlines and the way they drop is my big issue with the whole thing.

"Breaking News: The U.S. has intelligence that President Vladimir Putin has decided to invade Ukraine and target the capital Kyiv, President Biden said."

Media always runs these sort of headlines and articles and never ask to be shown any of the actual intelligence or the evidence. At least it's a direct quote from the US President and not "anonymous intelligence sources". So, there's that.

I'd add C) who imposed sanctions to try to stop NordStream2 in 2017 and 2019? And who lifted sanctions in 2021 on NordStream2?

Partisan hacks gonna partisan hack though.

Not that I give a rat's ass whether or not the US mediots and president lose global credibility, but they can always just state something like, "The leaked intelligence proving we knew his plan, caused Putin to scuttle his scheme and abandon the invasion.  Crisis averted.  You're welcome."

Those who want to believe it, will.  Those who want to disbelieve it, will.

Oh and Canada sure seems like it sucks.
For real. They are classifying peaceful protestors as terrorists- arresting them, freezing their bank accounts, canceling their licenses and vehicle insurance - and these people have zero recourse in a court of law. Even taking away their dogs (why you would bring a dog to a protest, is beyond me) and threatening to euthanize them if the dogs are not picked up within 8 days.

People absolutely should have the right to peaceful protests in Western democracies. The minute any of it gets violent, property destruction, looting, fires - then I'm all for sending in the big guns in and going hot. I felt that in 2020 - when some of those protests weren't protests- they were out and out violent criminal riots and the states response to squashing them- or lack of response I should say- was truly pathetic- and I feel that way now. Law enforcement failed this country back then and the government of Canada is failing it's citizens right now. These people in Canada are not violent, they are not rioting, destroying property or looting. They are completely within their rights to protest peacefully. IF they were doing any of that crap- it'd be a different story.

there 100% is not a bigger dickbag in all of politics than Justin Trudeau. He basically implies/accuses a woman MP of Jewish descent of being a Nazi sympathizer after she *gasp* dare criticize his handling of the situation and invoking marital law.

Oh and he refuses to apologize to her, says the protestors have "unacceptable views" and that these are illegal protests. The video is actually kind of shocking to watch. Like...did this mf'er really just do that?

It's seriously astounding. And scary. Pray to god that kind of insane authoritarianism never comes to the US. CNN/MSNBC were crying about Trump over this for 4 years....who knew they should've been screaming at the top of their lungs over the head honcho in Canada, eh.

"Wrong Ideology" would be a great name for a folk-punk band.

you have to love the internet...everything always comes back to bite ya. Old photos of Trudeau chumming it up with a literal Nazi....after he calls a Canadian MP Jewish woman a Nazi sympathizer for questioning him.

these are mostly idiots who have never been to Canada and think Canada is some racial paradise and utopia where everyone has healthcare and no one ever gets sick. It's not. Listen to any black hockey player trying to come up through the ranks in the Canadian minors/NHL. They've got stories for days. Yeah it's awesome that everyone has health care - but they often have to wait forever and a day to get said health care. That's why the ones with money and can afford to come here to get procedures done and pay for it rather than wait months on end.

Canada f**king sucks. It's always sucked. Take it from someone who used to live right next door and has been there a lot. It is a frozen waste land. A barren shithole that's filled with nothing but a bunch of f**king weirdos with stupid accents and bad food. That's why anyone in Canada with real money always gets the hell out and comes to Florida.

Mexico >>>>>> Canada. At least Mexico is warm. And fun. And has way better food.

What the truckers have done wrong-Blocking bridges which would not have been allowed in the US either

What the truckers have done right - non violent and expressing their complaints in a concise manner

What Canada has done wrong - wont allow non violent protests, declaring martial law,
tapping bank accounts, publishing list of donors, cancelling their insurance, arresting citizens who are just peacefully protesting

What Canada has done right - nothing
They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

who is Andriy Parubiy- the guy Trudeau is cozying up to in that photo?

He's the founder of the Social National Party of Ukraine, a fascist Neo-Nazi party that used Nazi/SS insignia and worshipped at the altar of Adolf Hitler - whose membership was restricted only to ethnic Ukrainians. The Social National Party of Ukraine would later morph into Svoboda, a far-right nationalist party with ties to Neo-Nazi militias - whose leader Oleh Tyahnybok was one of the three most high profile leaders of the Euromaidan protests – negotiating directly with the ousted Yanukovych regime.
