Lol I get it. I am posting between zoom calls and emails.

The younger one came out of school with nearly a six figure salary in engineering, from MSU 
The other one came out with her nursing degree from University of Michigan for the salary was quite a bit less than that, however she’s about to hit the payday with her cRNA and probably will start north of 200 K

😂. I always tease them that my retirement plan is I will be living in their basement.

I read them because I hoped they would tell me when this stupid housing market is going to crash due to unsustainable prices, so I can actually buy something.

Interesting. I’ve not interacted with that world in a bit, but I know a few years back, you were printing money with a nursing degree.

I’m also used to the older ways in which a nursing doctorate was basically just to teach. People who got them were looked at not unlike art history majors (you got the extra education for what now?). Now I see they have tweaked that to get you into anesthesia.

Spot on.  Apparently it’s only a recent development that they made the cRNA program a doctorate versus a masters program. And yes she did make some good coin with a nursing degree, but that engineering degree was a hot mama at least a couple years back anyway.

Yeah nursing is it - my wife got her undergrad in biology but went to the local community college to get her LPN, which is basically a two year nursing degree, and she might clear six figures this year

I had a family member who got a history degree, and after a few years of realizing that wasn’t it went back to nursing school.

it helped to work in the Bay Area, but there’s a reason neither of her kids had to borrow money for college
