To a high degree I think MDOT nailed  it yesterday.

Neither Russia or Ukraine gives a damn about us nor has any real interest to us and there’s really no good reason to get involved.

Both parties, ( Dems and GOP)talking about the integrity of their border should be smacked in the face for ignoring our borders.

In the meantime, the real winner of this tension is obviously China.

Buddy you can right now order some booze and toilet paper and a deep dish pizza and get it delivered to your house. Biden's America.
That's the best you have? Pizza's have damn near tripled in price. Vagrants are piling across the border and you think telling them it's FUNNY about the President? ya it is,they've done nothing and are reaping a windfall. Sam I SINCERELY hope you're not representing one of them when the rest of the flock comes thru your side door

I think the same. North Korea too, and Iran. They are watching.

Frankly I'm more concerned about Taiwan than I am the Ukraine. We have a lot more relationships with Taiwan.

Omg.  Employment?  19 million jobs that can’t be filled? Small business reducing hours or folding completely because there’s nobody to hire.

inflation significantly outpacing wages?

dude put away your pom-poms which are clearly blinding you to reality.

I know it makes you feel good in your heart that the Boston marathon bomber is allowed to vote and got enough money from stimulus checks to buy expensive Christmas presents for his family, but you have to understand there’s a lot of people who don’t feel good about that.

As for the people being raped carjacked and murdered in our big cities at world record pace, I’m guessing they’re not thinking things are going to swimmingly like you think.
Well, like I said, the lack of people to hire and inflation due to rising wages is directly due to drawing down immigration over the past few years. It's what Trump ran on, and Biden didn't run on it but he hasn't done much positive about it. Instead, he gets sucked into this stupid open borders/illegals nonsense which is directly causing the things you want to bemoan.

Further, I'm not seeing it. Homicides are up. Overall crime hasn't gone up that I've seen, at least not in Columbus. Can't speak for everywhere. What happens when you flood populations with guns and social media makes it very easy to get in fights? Nothing great.

I hope they let the vagrants work and thereby lower the cost of pizza

They're looking for help everywhere - develop some skills. But why should anyone go to work when Governments handouts are encouraging sloth?it's the supply chain getting interrupted by your clientele .It' FUNNY right ,it's funny when someone else's neighbor hood is getting ripped apart

Since 2014 no one has done more to justify NATO than Putin.  Putin has said publicly that he intends to rebuild the Soviet Union and until 2014 few took that talk seriously.

Hard to have a conversation with somebody who is either completely ignoring the facts or making them up as they go along. You think inflation is being caused by rising wages?

You need to look at Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and virtually every large city to see that murder is up, carjackings are up, assaults are up, the list is endless. You can ignore it Sam but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there

Back to the Russia situation.

Seems kinda quiet today.

I have been trying to think about what Germany might do in all of this, given their relationship with Putin and his natural gas supply. Seems to me they are backed into a corner.

Germany's got themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place.  They've turned out to be pretty toothless after all.

Which, after so many decades of reunification fears among the other countries in Europe, might not be the worst thing in the world.
