The Czechs hate them some Russia and are actively denouncing them, quite a bit more than the majority of their western neighbors.  They've been sending aid to Ukraine for quite a while now.  They don't have much military might, but they know better than most what an imperialistic Russia looks like and they'll do whatever they can to help prevent it ever happening again.

True. No love lost in most of the old bloc nations either. But, what are they gonna do?

Where is the evidence that Russia is imperialistic? Newsflash: the US is imperialistic. It is the greatest imperial power on planet earth. Russia is a pimple on a dogs ass. Putin is not some ideologue who wishes to restore the USSR. He's basically a corrupt mafia boss who steals from the state to enrich himself and his family. The dude has stolen hundreds of billions of dollars from the Russian state.

US is imperialistic. Plenty of evidence for that. Don't really see the evidence that Russia is.

This entire thing is all about NATO pushing for Ukraine to join NATO which would put US missile system on Russia's freaking border. Imagine if a Russian backed military alliance got Mexico to join and put Russian missile system on our border? LMAO. We'd destroy Mexico in 2 seconds flat and kick the Russians out. De-classified documents from US, UK, and French govts prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that President Bush I and secretary of state James Baker promised Gorbachev in '90 that if the Soviets withdrew from East Germany and allowed for the reunification of Germany that NATO would not move one inch eastward. That obviously did not happen.

NATO trying to get Ukraine to join is an act of aggression towards Russia. Period. There is no other way to put it. Putin cannot let that stand. As he shouldn't.

you're talking about something that doesn't exist anymore. USSR is dead and gone, has been for 31 years. And it's not coming back. Russia is not the USSR, nor is it a communist country. Putin isn't some communist supreme leader. He's basically a mafia boss who steals from the state to enrich himself and his family and allies. He's probably the richest man in the world or right up there with MbS.

This is exactly Putin's propaganda.  Word for word.  Looks like you're falling for it.   There's no evidence that NATO admission of Ukraine is imminent or even viable.  But Moscow sure wants the world to believe it.

You denounce the American Fourth Estate and at the same time fall for Pravda's incessant blathering.  That's an odd blind spot for you.

You seem to think that the only way Russia would engage in imperialism, would be because it's a soviet state.  Why?

Throughout history princes and kings and warlords have engaged in imperialism simply to enrich themselves.

Again, this is a weird blind spot for you, and isn't very consistent with the rest of the world view you often profess.

As showrunner, I’m going to force a few key creative changes starting with renaming Jason to Ray. That way we can title our show Gen X Ray…get it? The premise being a Gen Xer socially navigating his apartment tower full of constantly online and vaping Millennials and Zoomers.

Episode 4 - Birdwatching:

Gen X Ray Episode 5 - OnlyRay:

Green-haired Kayla vents to Ray and Nikoliss: “I will never forgive OnlyFans for making it OK for everyone to ask me completely unprompted if I post nudes online!” “Who’s asking?” Ray sheepishly asks, kinda hoping Kayla does have OnlyFans. “It’s Jessie down the hall,” Kayla wants Ray’s help convincing Jessie not to go through with hosting an OnlyFans account. But unfortunately for Ray, Jessie, whom he hoped to fail to convince all while getting approval from Kayla for trying, is not a girl – darn those gender neutral names (audience roars)!

It turns out Jessie is none other than washed up teen pop star Lil Smack whose reputation is no longer “lit” enough to even land him weeknight DJ stints at the local nightclubs. “I don’t like moralizing,” Ray promises, “but maybe you’re better off going back to your musical roots rather than do-it-yourself-ing NSFW shoots…in here?” Ray’s eyes then stray to Jessie’s legion of Funko Pops [shameless product placement] taking up bookshelf space. Suddenly, her eyes locking onto Jessie’s Frozen poster, Kayla has a brilliant idea. Next thing they know Jessie, Kayla, Nikoliss, and with Ray as the fat snowman, start “cosplaying” Frozen characters for singing their favorite childhood soundtracks with slightly more mature lyrics for a livestream from Jessie’s otherwise dormant YouTube channel. Episode ceremoniously ends with an inebriated Ray belting “Do you want to do a Keg Stand?” to the tune of “Do you want to build a Snowman?”

Don't we have hackers and such?
I'd do a full-scale crippling of all of Russia's and China's computer systems......send them back to 1985 pong-levels of computing.

Yeah, except it isn't propaganda. It's only the f**king truth.

Ukraine applied to begin a NATO Membership Action Plan or MAP as it's called- in 2008. Just so happens that at the 2021 Brussels Summit, NATO reiterated the decision taken at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that Ukraine would eventually become a full fledged member of NATO. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg went as far to say that Russia will not be able to veto Ukraine's accession to NATO.

Kinda funny how the US backed a coup in Ukraine to install a new government, and then it just so happens that the new puppet government the US helped install amended the Constitution of Ukraine and baked EU membership and NATO membership into law.

You'd have to be a complete fool to think Russia would allow US missile systems to be placed in Ukraine on their border. It's a hard redline in the sand that they won't allow. They'll go to war for that shit. And the US is stupid as f**k to even want to put missile systems and troops on Russian borders. It's making the world more dangerous. Not safer.

Well I'll certainly agree with you on that.

And it's not going to happen.

I don't believe this would be happening right now, honestly.

I'd prefer Reagan, but... Maybe a dead Reagan??

A weekend at Ronnie's would be fun.

then why did the US back a Ukrainian coup in 2014 and install a new gov't that amended the Ukrainian constitution to bake into law NATO/EU membership?

The US is an imperial aggressor, in case you haven't noticed. Don't see that much evidence that Russia is. They are babies compared to our shit.

I certainly hope you are right.
