I bought a bunch of Arizona Bowl tickets to flip them for big money.
After Miami withdrew from the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl on Sunday evening, the scramble was on to find a replacement team for Washington State. A replacement became available Monday when Boise State withdrew from the Arizona Bowl due to COVID issues with the Broncos.

Boise State’s withdrawal from the Arizona Bowl left Central Michigan also searching for an opponent in Bowl Season. After some quick work to iron out the details, Central Michigan is now on its way to the Sun Bowl to face Washington State.

The move was announced Monday night with Friday’s kickoff set for 10 am local time:

Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy is calling on Nebraska to fill a vacancy left by Boise State in the Arizona Bowl. Barstool is the title sponsor of this year’s postseason game.

Due to COVID-19 concerns within the Boise State program, the team has opted out of playing in the Arizona Bowl against Central Michigan. Portnoy tweeted out the Broncos will not be a participant on Monday afternoon.

Shortly after that tweet, Portnoy called on Nebraska to step in and fill the open slot.

“Calling (Nebraska), Let’s go Husker Nation! Scott Frost finally gets Big Red to bowl game!” Portnoy wrote. “Turns program around. We’ll put (Will Compton) on the call!” Michigan would do it if we weren’t in playoff!”

I assumed Portnoy would be calling Georgia State or South Alabama or some other program less than 18 years old

It was the correct approach 18 months ago.

But now it's "correct" for real.

My favorite part about a generation making fun of the one that follows it is that it doesn't occur to them that their parenting caused about 85% of what they're making fun of.

*That's mostly NOT what's happening here, as you guys are probably 2 or even 3 generations removed from "millenials."
I am a boomer and I have kids that are Millennials and GenZ.  And I can tell the difference between my Millennials and my GenZs, so while parenting is defintely a major factor, cultural changes are a great influence to that also.
