Covid is one of the biggest threats this country has ever faced and if you allow it to it will completely take over your life

The American people have shown they will not let that happen in spite of those who want to use it as a tool for domination

we are on our way back and anyone who doesnt support living a normal life needs to get the hell out of the way and just let the American people do what they always have and that is to survive and flourish

Im very thankful to be living in this country this Thanksgiving

I’m so tired of the damn oil price gas price arguments. Not just on here, every damn forum I’ve been a part of forever. Nobody was bitching last year when oil and gas prices were in the crapper except the oil companies and the shareholders. Exxon had to suspend their 401k for Christ sake. Gas was in the $1-2 range for most of the year. 

The US was either the #2 or #3 oil producing country in the world last time I checked. Yes, we use a lot of oil but we make a lot too. Lots of shit is much more expensive this year vs pre COVID levels. Some of it you’re lucky to even be able to get it. 

I think people give the US president and govt way too much credit and blame for high oil and gas prices. It’s not even so much a supply and demand thing because you really can’t store a meaningful amount. It’s a days and weeks situation. It has to be balanced.

I'm sorry, but your frustration level has nothing to do with the reality of the situation.  We've all wanted to move on with our lives from day 1, but that wasn't the best course of action.  I don't know if it is now, but neither do you.

I believe he voiced an opinion.  It is pretty widely understood this will become endemic at some point, like the common cold, to which it is related.  And yes, we'd all like to return to some form of normalcy.  Where I live, life is pretty normal now, with a few exceptions of no real note, for me anyway, I'm not subject to any mandates.

I have to wear a mask for 7 hours every day.  I don't want to.  I'm not fearful I'll get the virus.  But I also don't bitch and moan about it or get in fistfights over it.  I don't talk down to those who legislate such things simply in an attempt to have fewer people die.

No wonder every truck commercial is the same - barreling up a mountain with slow-motion turns, kicking up dirt and mud.  They use words like 'tough' and 'rugged,' which are perfectly fine words.

Except that they're unmeasurable.  So they can claim their truck is the toughest or most rugged and since that claim is unfalsifiable, it's not technically a lie.  And the masses gobble it up and buy the truck, which is simply a car on a different frame.  

Whatever gets the brilliant masses out to spend money, i guess.  That's more 'Murican than anything else posted on this board.
