I'm not into the oil thing, other than I agree with 320 about being self-sufficient and not stopping pipelines and drilling.

Of course I don't like paying more for gas, but unlike many, I can still afford it and it doesn't affect my life in any way.
I dont drive anywhere like I used to so gasoline prices really dont affect me

I also inherited several oil royalty leases and Im cleaning up right now

Wish I wasnt

Id rather have lower gas prices for the good of the country

Don't do something kind unless you can advertise it, right?

I'm sick and tired of everything being blamed on Covid.

Brilliant.

I bought gas a couple days ago for $2.97/Gallon

seems inexpensive to me in the big scheme of things

the price of crude oil doesn't just affect price of gas. it affects the price of literally everything. everything we buy everywhere costs more to produce & ship when the cost of crude oil goes up.

it's not just gas prices that rise when crude goes higher- prices on everything rises.

Nearly all plastics come from petroleum or NG.  Fertilizer is dependent on NG costs, as is concrete.

The petrochemical industry is amazing to me, they can convert this black gold into so many things, including medicines.

Yes, a fair bit of radial tires is made from natural rubber (and steel or Kevlar, which is derived from oil).

Yep, but, inflation is fake news.

Can't blame inflation on anyone. Nothing to see here.

Most of the price is not related to oil prices.  You have other than oil components, manufacturing costs, shipping, inventory, taxes ...

Shipping is related.
