We were supposed to fly to Munich tomorrow. That's not happening. Munich is on lockdown. So now we will fly directly to Lisbon from ORD, on Wednesday.

Thank goodness for everything being refunded.
Well, you'd have been a month too late for Munich anyway. ;)

Yeah I know.  Two years in a row they haven't done it.  Hopefully they'll get it all sorted by 2022.  At this point, going on full lockdown and canceling events, for a virus that is becoming endemic, seems a bit silly.

I just read about that, truly awful.  I'd never even heard of the dude, but apparently this is not the first time there's been panic and injury at one of his shows.

😂😂😂😂. Never gets old.
Easily one of the greatest movies ever.

Will Ferrell has been in a lot of bad movies lately, but man if Anchorman and Step Brothers aren't two of the all-time greatest comedies ever, I don't know what is.

That moment when Pat McAfee realized he had the burden of being the smartest person in the room for the first time ever

If anyone watches McAfee's show regularly they'd know how much McAfee worships Joe Rogan. He mentions it frequently. My guess is he was smiling because he thought it was pretty awesome that his good buddy A-Rod has become friends with a guy that McAfee all but worships in Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan got COVID and cleared it in like 3 days. The guy is 55 years old by the way. Whatever he did- obviously worked. Most guys his age get f**cked up by the covids.

My guess is the monoclonal antibodies, IV drips, and steroids are what probably did the job. The ivermectin may have helped- but the studies on it are pretty much inconclusive. Not enough data there and in all the ivermectin studies it has been given with other drugs- and those drugs are what may have been the cause for improvement in patients health.

By the way- this entire BS narrative in the mainstream media about ivermectin being a horse dewormer literally blows my mind. Ivermectin is on the WHO's list of essential medicines, it's been dosed to literally billions of humans for like 4 decades, and the discoverer of the compound won the Nobel prize. It's a HUMAN MEDICINE that was invented FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION in which a version of it was repurposed for use in animals. Is water an animal liquid? Is penicillin an animal drug? Like where the hell is this bullshit even coming from? Pretty obvious what's going on here....

I don't consider those losses to be puzzling at all.  In my opinion, they're completely expected, given the parity in the division and the relative quality of all of the teams being discussed.  The ags also struggled with a terrible Colorado team, and the starting QB threw 3 picks against Kent State.

The Alabama win is the aberration here. And I agree, this year's Alabama team isn't the world-beater that the other recent ones have been.  But they're still the king until they're not.

I completely expect at least one more loss from A&M against LSU, Ole Miss, or Auburn.  And it could be two.  Not knocking the ags at all, that's just the state of parity in the SEC West right now.
I get what you’re saying but there isn’t that much parity here. We were a young team, we lost our starting QB who had been running with the ones since before the 2020 season. Our offensive line has the talent but they were not playing well as a unit. Miss state scored 24 on offense, ours didn’t do anything.  Ark was almost the same story.

I won’t be surprised if we drop one more either. Auburn will tell me a lot more than Mizzou or the others.

Most 55 year olds don't/cant go for 5 mile-runs and have abs.

The obsession with worm medicine being a good substitute for a vaccine against viruses is one of those signs our education system is poor.

The bigger question: why is anyone taking medical advice from Joe Rogan?

A) Ivermectin isn't "worm medicine"- and it has shown in vitro to inhibit the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Ivermectin has been used for decades and has been proven in clinical trial after clinical trial to be effective at fighting Dengue Virus. In terms of proving its effectiveness against the SARs-CoV-2 virus, well a lot more study needs to be done on the drug/virus. And I'd say your post above is a sign that our education system is poor and that our mainstream media is pretty much useless and it tricks idiots into believing anything they regurgitate. But hey- that's what we are- a nation of idiots.

B) the vaccines we have might as well be useless. the studies/science are in on them, and they pretty much suck.

C) The concoction of monoclonal antibodies, steroids, and IV drip is probably what really worked for Rogan.

I don't know that anyone is. And Rogan says this 1000000x over on his podcast- that he's a cage fighting comentantor, stand-up comic moron- and no one should take medical advice from him and he's not giving it either. He's just telling people what worked for him.
