Oh I see. Describing racism is the new racism.
How did you describe racism?

All you did was make sweeping generalizations about an entire race of people based on nothing but your biases, assumptions, and preconceived notions.

Congrats, you're a racist.

No, I said a lot of laws can be tracked due to whites being afraid. Which is a factual statement, if you look at the history of various laws. If I said blacks generally vote Democratic, that would also be a factual statement. I guess I would be a racist for saying that too.

Again, how in the world is this a factual statement? Hint: it's not.

If you said blacks generally vote Democratic- that would be a factual statement because there are actual statistics which show this to be the case.

You are comparing apples to oranges.

Congrats on being a racist.

Back on topic - being the victim of a robbery or most crimes sucks, and a system which doesn't care about it also sucks. If you live in these communities, and you feel cops don't care or are useless, and you can't leave, there aren't that many options available. So increases in violence would seem to be expected.
I'm just curious as to the percentage of folks that "Can't" leave

I understand it takes a little bit of money for transportation to get out.  seems if you really want out, the motivation would be there to beg, borrow, or steak enough cash to escape.

I understand that folks have family and ties there that they might feel that they shouldn't leave, but that's not can't.

Typically this is what people say when they've lost an argument.

Congrats on losing an argument. Oh, and on being a racist.

Definitely, though this hits a lot of different demographics. A teenager can't exactly just move, almost regardless of class

What argument? You claimed, dumbly, that I'm a racist. I support the ability for you to make all the dumb statements you want.

It's called having a rent budget around $500 a month.

not a high percentage, but there have obviously been teenagers that have "runaway" from bad situations.

we here about it in college sports all the time, teenagers with a future in sports moving to an aunt or uncle or grandparent or a coach or family friend that they can live with through high school to avoid problems in their neighborhood

You say, as you hide out in the burbs.

Put your money where your mouth is, and move in closer to where you work. Maybe Cleveland Ave south of the Westerville school district at the very least.
I spent K-3rd grade in that area.
