What's the biggest city in the USA that isn't an absolute cesspool of crime?

Who knows? Overall crime has stayed the same or risen by a negligible rate. Homicides have gone up everywhere. Lots of guns sold in 2020, too.
Huh?

I will quite a liberal source for you-

I guess I've heard it described like that, though I don't go around talking about Columbus pizza. A chewy thin crust is best, cracker crusts are for birds.
Badge and I may disagree. All the Chicago thin crust I've had has had some chew to the crust. It's not cracker crispy.

So even that source acknowledges that crime fell, but complains that it doesn't separate all different crimes into separate categories. Well, as I said, homicides rose (and shootings) though crime overall did not. So even that source agrees with me, and it is important to acknowledge. If "soft on crime" policies are to blame, why wouldn't all crimes rise? It's the main problem with the "touch on crime" crowd, which generally just looks to whatever to justify harsh penalties and police state style policies.

Chicago doesn't get to claim two completely opposite pizza styles as their own.

Played some golf this morning. Shot +15 (75 on a par-60 course). Not bad considering I was +5 through the first two holes, and +10 through the last 16 lol.

Tonight we'll be eating ribeye from our butcher shop and [grilled] baked potato. Gonna break out some of the high-dolla wine...

I'm going to separate out all the good candy (i.e. Kit Kat and Reese's peanut butter cups) from the big bag we bought from Costco, and we'll keep the rest in a bowl for the trick-or-treaters.

Downside: something's still wrong with the Flex. So I gotta mess with that crap tomorrow, and if I can't solve it, gotta actually pay a mechanic to fix it.

I don't think I'd be afraid of being shot in Chicago. But I'm not sure we'll be going anytime soon. Pretty sure I'm going to drop some coin on that tastesofchicago.com site though, so thanks for that.

Sure we can. Both Chicago-style deep dish and Chicago-style thin crust are a thing.

I don't know much about Columbus-style pizza. I don't know if it's similar to Chicago-style thin crust. All I know is I've never had anything like Chicago-style thin crust outside Chicago.

Chicago style is already part of the American lexicon and it's the $40 tomato soup in a bread bowl that takes an hour to cook.

In Columbus 95% of the pizza available is cut in squares.

"Cut in squares" does not define a style of pizza.

As I've said, I don't know if Columbus-style is similar to Chicago-style thin crust. I've never had Columbus-style pizza. I'm claiming ignorance on that front.

But *IF* there are significant style differences between Columbus pizza and Chicago-style thin crust, then you can't say that Chicago-style thin crust isn't a unique style.
