Decided not to wade into your political crap.

New coffee table arrives today. Excited about it, but hoping it's not too big for the room.
More room to put political crap on,can't you see that ?

That’s fun! How big we taking.

Im trying to decide if I have enough room between the TV and the couch to justify a coffee table. It may be a little more than 4 feet, which feels very in-between.

Current coffee table is 36" square. Not a great dimension for a small room and a 3-seat couch.

New one is 52x28. I initially didn't want this one because of the size, and preferred one that we saw on Wayfair that was only 48x24. But we saw this one in person (Living Spaces) and liked it, and I started delving into the specs and reviews of the Wayfair table and it looked like a steaming pile of political crap, materials/construction wise.

I have about 8 1/2 feet between the couch and the fireplace; TV mounted above the mantle. But it's not the 28" dimension that worries me, it's more that there won't be quite as much of a walkway because of how wide it is AND being 28" depth.

4 feet between you and the TV? You live in an RV? :57:

my coffee table is 28x48 with a hinged top that rotates up to chin height for dining - great for snacks/gameday food and drinks if I have a few over to watch sports

if I sit behind the table it's about 6 feet from the TV - I rarely sit there

my computer table were I'm sitting currently and where I live 98% of the time is 4 feet from my 65" TV

with my bad eyes I can easily see the game and post crap here

That clear top will be transparent for perhaps 3hrs after the beer goggles come out or the kids use it for an afternoon

My lash house came with a glass coffee table. I worried nearly daily about getting tipsy and falling through it.
