At what point do we begin to seriously consider giving California to Mexico?
Can’t afford to.

How much do you think they should make?

Going rate is about $30/hour right now.
A large percentage of them are subject to some grotesque labor practices.

The truck owner-operator scam is just shameful. And it takes people who are possibly willing to work hard, maybe have some entrepreneurial spirit and uses them for super low-price labor before throwing them out.

Yep. California gives more to Washington than Washington spends in California.

Not like Florida which sucks down $50B more in federal spending every year than they pay in federal taxes...

The least Florida could do is say thanks...

There are more important things than money.

Plus Mexico could use a boost to their economy.

Lord, the compensation process would be a mess.

The idea it would go to Mexico is funny. That place is declaring independence first.

Thanks.  California- where lawnmowers with gas motors have been banned, gives me the perspective of why I’m so grateful I am never going to have to live there.😂😂

Well we'd be giving you to Mexico as a gift. So it isn't like you are going to have any say in the matter.

If you want to go Rogue after that, all you have to do is fight your own version of the Revolutionary war.

Might be tough without any guns though.

California has too much food, can't let them go. The obvious choice is Florida. Its biggest export is crazy people. Give it to Cuba.

BTW I tried Del Taco, which I found while meeting my parents in southern Ohio. It was disgusting. Somehow the taco meat had the texture of Taco Bell without any flavor. I doused it in hot sauce to give it some sort of flavor. The hot sauce wasn't very good, and also their drink machine was broken, which wasn't great after all that hot sauce.

There are more important things than money.

Tell that to half the country.

A long-term plus out of this supply chain issue is that it shows our reliance on one big port.

Why we don't have 5 others as big is beyond me.  If Ft. Lauderdale is getting its first shipment from India ever, why not continue it going forward?
Maybe having our 2 largest ports side-by-side isn't a brilliant plan.

An unmarked plane bombs LA and Long Beach, and we're back in the stone age.

Technically I just told it to the entire world.
