how is this an example of art imitating life? LGBTQ2AA+ or whatever the hell they are calling themselves these days is like 4.5% of the entire population.

Of that group, Bi-sexuals make up .7%. This is an astronomically low subsection of the populace.

Nothing about art imitating life- these jerk-offs running the company are just pandering for PR and trying to sell comics.
I wasn't aware they were running any companies.
Careful, your post echoes what's been said of the Jews by.....the most evil people our country ever fought.

Fro believes in 138 genders, so from his vantage point anyone that deviates even slightly from the most rigid, islamic gender roles imaginable is part of the LGBT community.
Tell me more about what I believe!  You love to do so, despite never actually being correct.

Why do you only go to the extremes?

I find this interesting and appreciate you taking seriously my request for the list. Gives me a good sense for what you're watching and a better idea where you're coming from on this, which is good.
Yeah, he's a slave to the CBS sitcoms, canned laughter and all.  Lazy, safe "entertainment" that confirms his bias.

Interesting considering none of them are sitcoms

What bias do these shows indicate

Not sure what you mean by lazy safe and I doubt you do either

dude...wtf are you even talking about?

And I was saying that the people running those companies in general- were just pandering to the public. Trying to get good PR for their shitty corporations and make their corporations look enlightened, woke, tolerant, and preaching "acceptance for all people", etc.. It's just PR bullshit- kind of like when Raytheon hypes all their LGBTQ+ bullshit- so free and tolerant and acceptance here!- you're the best- help us build more and more DRONE BOMBS LGBTQ+2AAASDXE PEEPS TO DROP ON POOR GOAT HERDERS IN MIDDLE EAST & PAKISTAN! YAAAAY ACCEPTANCE!

Mostly true.

One point I quibble with is him complaining that automakers "farm it out". Just about EVERYONE farms out chip production. Even Apple, who uses a TON of chips and designs their own, farms out the production. Economies of scale in integrated circuit fabrication make it basically impossible to do it in-house unless you're on the scale of Intel. Even AMD (I believe) farms out their CPU production.

There's no economic sense in automakers trying to also vertically integrate their chips.

Also, it's just marketing by being transgressive. You, my friend, would not have thought a lick about Superman unless something happened to it that felt transgressive. Basically, the only reason you're thinking about it at all is because the decision bothers a certain part of your outlook.
What strikes me as odd is that, in 2021, this isn't really even transgressive. Even the folks on this thread complaining about it aren't really particularly worked up, nor are those who are defending it. It strikes me as play-acting... Just going through the motions because it's "newsworthy".

It's kinda like the movie Brokeback Mountain. In 2005, a movie about two secretly gay cowboys trying to come to terms with themselves in the middle of a hyper-masculinized environment was transgressive. In 2021, a movie about two gay cowboys would be a buddy comedy or a rom-com.

You want transgressive? Do this in 1987, in the middle of the AIDS crisis. Make Christopher Reeves kiss a dude on the big screen.

THAT would have been transgressive. This is milquetoast.
