Fairly similar, except that the burrito doesn't use a hash brown inside (just roasted potatoes), uses tomatoes instead of "creamy jalapeno sauce", and the proportions are different--I think there's a higher filling:tortilla ratio on the burrito.

The crunchwrap seemed to eat dry, whereas the burrito has more flavor and moisture. And I couldn't even taste the creamy jalapeno sauce at all. I would not order again.

The burrito wasn't bad for a fast food breakfast burrito--I'll give it that. A lot better than the travesty McD's calls a breakfast burrito. But I have such an embarrassment of riches to get amazing breakfast burritos around here (some that are even drive thru) that I still wouldn't be likely to buy one again.
Well - you do have to douse it in hot sauce. In any event, the fast food breakfast options for the major chains are pretty bleak. I can do a sausage biscuit from McDonalds, but it's under protest.

I think the sausage mcmuffin w/ egg is pretty solid as a breakfast item, and the McD's hash browns are consistently good. I'm not into the mcgriddles, but people who like a little sweetness enjoy those.

I count Dunkin as part of "fast food" because most of them around here have drive thru, and their croissant breakfast sandwiches are good.

Carl's Jr is pretty good too.

I've tried Wendy's once, and didn't like it. Everyone goes nuts over Chick fil A chicken biscuit, but I just don't get it. I don't really eat burger king, so I can't speak on theirs.

BK threw in the towel when they got rid of their cheese infused hash browns.

Chick fil A spicy chicken biscuit is solid business.

I have to think that's what I ordered, because I always order spicy if there's an option lol. I still found it underwhelming.

I should point out that I don't eat biscuits unless they're slathered in sausage gravy. So a biscuit-based sandwich isn't typically my thing.

I wish you the best with your decision.
I survived it once. My guess is that I will be fine going forward. But thanks for the well wishes.

I like the croissandwich from BK for a fast-food breakfast.
My usual breakfast is on the way to work - McDonalds - 2 sausage mcmuffins w/ no egg.  Low-carb, as I only eat half of each muffin.

Fast-food egg creeps me out.

That is the only thing I would eat from Mc'D for breakfast, and I do the same as you do (on the rare occasions I do it - generally in airports). I have always liked Big Mac, so I'll eat that in the airports.

ate a bunch, (too many) Big Macs in high school.

Worked for a year at a full service gas station as shift manager that was located next to the MacDonalds.  Many of my high school friends worked there.  The gas station / McDonalds was a hot spot on "the loup" Friday and Saturday night.

Sold the cheapest cigarettes in the city and expensive beer.

Good Times!!!
